We get backstory on a quiet knight with a very thin blade. I'm not sure if the former Pontifex was right if the knight was a sadistic person. We get a good battle between her and the pugilists. She didn't kill any of them just cut off their arms.
I can't believe the right hand man who was killing people in his hunt died in a giant hole
That giant hole was made by Asuna who is using the Goddess Stacia's account and really destroyed the army with her power.
Half of the episode was on set up - Asuna explaining her side to the folks
The 2nd half's enjoyment depends on whether you like harem shenanigans.
Compared to Lisbeth, Silica (have to exclude Sinon and Leafa who had their own arcs and season), only Alice is the developed one. Didn't expect to see the Senpai in the war. I did enjoy the clash of Asuna and Alice while the other girls had their competitive reasons on Kirito.
I didn't get to comment on the last week's shows until now. Before I watch my Saturday shows, I'll do these right away.
For an evil army, they really don't look evil. Sometimes, I felt bad they were getting cut down. They were traveling on ropes across the giant chasm that Asuna created. It's war, so the knights went to cut down the ropes.
The hackers called the Americans (something's odd with this show) to play the evil side. Meanwhile, Yui counters that with calling all the Japan side. While it was great to see Lisbeth and less utilized and spotlighted gang from Sword Art Online, it felt weird that Lisbeth was talking. The flashbacks were added to help the new anime fans. I'm not sure why the gamers were antagonistic towards SAO survivers. Most of them have PTSD. The show didn't create enough backstory or details of this conflict to make sense.
A 2nd-cour visual of the “Sword Art Online: Alicization -War of Underworld-” TV anime has been unveiled. It will begin airing in April 2020.

Dream: My second Funi poll is done. Titles I will be watching and reviewing will include Chobits, Samurai Champloo, Spice and Wolf, Gankutsuou, and Dance in the Vampire Bund. Will let folks know which one I start off tomorrow at some point.
Jan 11, 2020 5:39:30 GMT
Dream: First anime I will sample among the Funi titles is Chobits. As a heads up, the series on Funi's Youtube channel is missing the two recap episodes the series aired. Not that I'll be missing those however.
