Very. One can only imagine things getting better in terms of feat if this is just the beginning chapter. I really like the concept behind his ability. I wonder how it’s initiated. I mean is it embedded within him or something? Or is it as a side effect of him manipulating ether?
I don't know but am freaking hyped, he is like a better Natsu, lol.
He may as come to be the more versatile of the two.
darkxfeykade17 I haven't checked the spoilers, I'll just wait for the release.
A goddess dwarfing planets?? Oh no, I hope this manga doesn't become some dbz/God of high school planet bursting shit of a manga. Honestly I love power but I'll love it if this manga remains in the hst tier or kinda in the same ball park in terms of power, so I can debate on in the battle forums.
I'll read it and probably weekly since I can access it easily than the other manga series. I have to read it, Orient, and a bunch of them since there are a lot of new manga filling the void of old manga series ending in 2017.
All right, so got a preview of the cast in the future. Most mangakas will change their art style in their first series and eventually adopt an art style. Rave Master look quite different since it was his first. It's not surprising Eden's Zero looks like Fairy Tail since it was only a year.
Quite a weird start. There were no set goals. I hate to compare since I have to review the series on its own merits.
Rave Master - Haru was looking to destroy all Shadow Stones/Dark Bring while Elie was trying to find her memories Fairy Tail - Natsu was looking for his father while Lucy just wanted to join Fairy Tail.
Both series involve a huge world adventure. No doubt, Eden's Zero will follow the same.
Meeting the new characters
Shiki is a lonely boy raised by robots. He's a curious lad hence why he has no tact or modesty in groping Rebecca or looking under her skirt. For some reason, the robots know about human manners and fail to teach the young boy.
The heroine is Rebecca. She wants to be a Youtuber? Happy is Happy.
If you were looking for something different from Fairy Tail and wanted less nakama and fan service, you probably should go back. I doubt the author will change his traits. Even his assistant, Miki Yoshikawa, has some of his influence fan service in her works, mostly panty shots which Hiro Mashima doesn't do oddly enough.
I thought the show was going to be science based in terms of power when the gang departs for space. It seems to be magical.
I'm so behind in Anime Vice Wikia that I don't have covers for Fairy Tail and Rave Master which I uploaded in the old Anime Vice wiki pages for a long time. I have this weird policy of never using other Wikia sites' manga covers. I only use either Anime Vice or Comic Vine. I had to put these in spoiler tag since Comic Vine images don't rescale compared to Wikia images.
If you see the art evolution between Rave Master's 2nd (the first one didn't have ELIE) and last cover to Fairy Tail's first and last cover. You can see Fairy Tail's art was similar to Rave Master in the beginning but it eventually evolved to be distinct. The eyes typically made up most of the face area and the faces were much rounder in Rave Master.
Bigger is an understatement. She’s colossal! Wow! Those planets are like a spec of dust compared to her!
Lol yea Wonder if she's evil
welp u could see a star right beside her(looking like it's destroyed or something) and the dragon flying past her like a micro insect leaving trails of light behind, she definitely HUGE ass! if she really is evil and shiki gets to fight her/beats her then I see this manga going into some large planet bursting tier or higher, not really sure I like that but it's gonn be epic!
interesting 2nd chapter; b cube huh? kinda reminds me of "lighthouses" from tower of God(my fav webtoon) the happy transformation totally caught me off guard lol, Rebecca seems to go crazy in that, good combo. I wanted to see more of shiki's ether gear but I guess fleshing out rebecca and happy was necessary, so that's fine. Erza (elcy crimson) finally appears!!! can't wait for next week, think am gonna make an eden's zero thread on reddit.
El_Directo Okay, so I just went through the first chapter. Gotta say, it’s an enjoyable first start. MC is pretty dense which I’m not a fan of and I can already see Power of Friendship just being thrown in your face for this series. On the other hand, the whole thing with the robots was pretty sad and the setting with space and traveling to other planets is really fascinating.
El_Directo, Akabane, darkxfey, I actually found the chapter pretty funny. (Meow, Meow 😏) on a side note, I’m happy that Rebecca actually has mad skills, I appreciate it. Since I was afraid she was a bit weak. I found that bit about happy a bit shocking. Since I’m hoping he’s not outright a robot (tho, I can’t deny that he is) since they don’t really have emotions!?
Dream: Will post a little later what the next voted anime will be that I will watch and review.

Dream: Concluding things at episode 2 with Vampire Bund for the night. Hoping to get back to Basquatch tomorrow, as long as I'm not swamped with anything.

Dream: Hmmmm... looks like the version of Vampire Bund I'm seeing on Funi's YouTube channel's an edited version. A couple minutes of episode 2 were clearly removed with Mina in nothing but underwear battling human assassins. Then again, recall there was a good...

Dream: Not sure if I should be donning the nostalgia goggles or not giving a damn. Looks like the original Digimon Adventure series is getting a reboot airing starting in the Spring season.

Taka: I'll watch it if there's nothing catching my eye in Spring. winter 2020 was a weak anime season for me.

Dream: Wouldn't say it's all bad for me. Have a few titles holding my interest. Just it typically doesn't have as many major titles of note that would hold me over.

Dream: Done with Vampire Bund. Will be working on a review of it before I hop into the next Funi series. Hoping to get it up either tonight or tomorrow, depending on how lengthy my thoughts get.
