What is a CAV? CAV stands for Chuckle a Vicer which means 2 or more users will go against each other in a debate. Of course this isn't the regular debate as you know it from the serious CAV, these debates are to see whose character is better through memes and jokes. It's essentially the official CAV you know but only with jokes and memes.
So you'd be asking yourself, what's the purpose of this thread? The purpose of this thread is to gather users across the joke battle community to arrange a CAV here and have a good laugh. You can make themes for your CAV with your own rules and character roster. CAVs can help you become a worse better debater.
Rules of a CAV
Be organized. Be efficient. Be awesome.
Be respectful of your opponent, you can try to crack down their character(s) but not the user.
Explain how your character or team would win through the use of "feats". These "feats" are but are not limited to: memes, gifs, videos, any traceable quote in the series (be it a hyperbole quote or not) and anything else that doesn't directly include the character(s) the other user is using.
The "feats" can't be too new. This is to avoid people making new memes on the spot to make their character look stronger.
1st post needs an introduction for obscure characters. People might wanna check that series out later you know.
Once users finish their "arguments", the CAV will end with voting where other users will vote for the best joke debater.
CAV's should be fair debates where both sides have a chance to win. It being a joke CAV in essence though means there's almost no such thing as an unfair CAV.
For the reason above try to pick characters with a decent amount of "Feats" , it very hard to have a debate against a character with Little to no "Feats".
Outside users should not interfere with the CAV , only the users the CAV is for can debate on the characters presented.
And most importantly have fun!
How to make a CAV for dummies What follows here now is an example of how to set up a CAV for a character. In this example Happy (Fairy Tail) will be used.
First off a picture of the character. It can be as derpy, scary or normal as you want and even FanArt.
Introduction of the character or Team This is where you tell your opponent and the voters who character is . This includes their bio , etc , it can be short or long depending on how known the character is.
The character's powers and abilities Pretty much what is says there. You list and briefly explain any power and ability necessary. For example for Happy: Nakama power (He is from Fairy Tail) FTL+ speed (Always saves Natsu on time) Fishpotence (After eating fish, his power increases immeasurably) Parasite from (From the Fairy Tail x Parasyte crossover) Ichiya virus (Enough said) Rape face Mastery etc. etc. etc.
"Feats" Here you will list the "feats" of your character. Be prepared to post feats that support the character's powers and feats to indicate how strong/fast the character is. Any feat as long as it goes by the rules.
Prep ( if any) This would be where you would post what your character is going to do with their prep. For example Happy'd be eating fish during his prep time or try to flirt with Charla.
Other things that you want to include about your character This can be any gear that your character has that would help them win this fight for example.
How my character / Team will win this fight This where the debate should start if you are going first , you explaining how and why your character / Team would win this fight.
PocketGod Nono if you want to use Lord Itachi i'm fine with it. I honestly always prefer to choose last so that my character has about the same amount of feats as someone else's character. So if you want you can have Itachi.
For the fourth swordsman (btw Erza withstood a town level blast with Adamantite Armor in the Phantom Lord arc so she's technically town level durability with that armor), maybe try Skypiea arc Zoro or you want another swordsman?

Dream: My second Funi poll is done. Titles I will be watching and reviewing will include Chobits, Samurai Champloo, Spice and Wolf, Gankutsuou, and Dance in the Vampire Bund. Will let folks know which one I start off tomorrow at some point.
Jan 11, 2020 5:39:30 GMT
Dream: First anime I will sample among the Funi titles is Chobits. As a heads up, the series on Funi's Youtube channel is missing the two recap episodes the series aired. Not that I'll be missing those however.
