KAZÉ Deutschland Showcases ‘Another’ German Anime Dub
Kaze Deutschland picked up the anime series Another back in January 2015 and is getting ready to bring out the first collection for it on August 26th, 2016. The company has picked p the twelve episode run with plans for it to come out on DVD, Blu-ray and video on demand. The first release is set for four episodes and now the dubbed trailer for it in German has arrived and it’s one more series that just feels like it clicks very well in this form.
They’ve also picked up the rights to the Episode Zero OVA and will be including it later in the release.
The North American release from Sentai Filmworks has the twelve episode series, but they did not acquire the rights to episode zero.
Plot concept: Mei Misaki was cute, athletic, and one of the most popular girls in her school. Why should a little thing like death change that? Now, twenty-three years after Mei’s mysterious demise, a new transfer student discovers that not only is his school’s student body one corpse short of a full roster, but that some secrets never leave high school. What’s more, all of this may somehow be tied to his own family past.
What is the secret and how does it all connect? And even if Kouichi does figure it out, will that knowledge help save him? As the school bells toll a deadly dirge and students begin to die, things that were never properly buried come back to haunt the high school of the damned!
Kaze France Reveals First ‘Ushio & Tora’ Anime DVD/BD Box Artwork
With Sentai Filmworks announcing recently a dub for the North American release, the folks at Kaze France previously scheduled the first box set for Ushio & Tora. The plan is for the first set to land on DVD and Blu-ray in box set form on September 14th, 2016 priced at 30 euro and 35 euro respectively. The packaging for the first set has now arrived and it’s certainly distinctive and the type of cover that I doubt we’ll see being used here when it’s solicited.
The show ran for thirty-nine episodes total between the two season. The first twenty-six episodes ran summer 2015 and now the final thirteen-episode arc where it’ll finish off by dealing with events from the final battle in the manga ran in the spring of 2016. Sentai Filmworks has licensed the show in North America while Madman Entertainment has the Australian rights.

It’s called Sensha-do, and it’s the martial art of operating armored tanks! They take it seriously too, and since winning the national Sensha-do championship is such a huge deal at Oarai, they sometimes go to extreme ends in order to get the best students from Panzer class to sign up. Which is how Miho Nishizumi, who HATES operating tanks, gets drafted to join doomsday-driven driver Mako, even-triggered gunner Hana, highly receptive radio operator Saori and combustible tank-fangirl and loader Yukari as the incomparable Anko Team. They may not be on the half-track to fame and fortune, and maybe a few of them would rather shop for tank tops than become tops in tanks, but once their focus is locked and loaded, they’re absolutely driven.

Haikara-San: Here Comes Miss Modern Part 1 (Gekijōban Haikara-san ga Tōru Zenpen - Benio, Hana no 17-sai)
is coming to Canada
Eleven Arts Anime Studio announced on Thursday that Haikara-San: Here Comes Miss Modern Part 1 (Gekijōban Haikara-san ga Tōru Zenpen - Benio, Hana no 17-sai) will screen at Cineplex theaters in Canada beginning on June 8, the same day the film opens in the United States. The company's website has a list of theaters and showtimes.
Haikara-San: Here Comes Miss Modern Part 1 is the first of two films based on Waki Yamato's Haikara-san ga Tooru manga. Eleven Arts has announced that the second film, Gekijōban Haikara-san ga Tōru Kōhen - Hana no Tōkyō Dai Roman, is scheduled for this fall in the United States but has not confirmed a release window for Canada. All screenings will be in Japanese with English subtitles.
The story is set in Tokyo in the Taishō era (1912-1926). The story follows Benio "Haikara-san" Hanamura, who lost her mother when she was very young and has been raised by her father, a high-ranking official in the Japanese army. As a result, she has grown into a tomboy — contrary to traditional Japanese notions of femininity, she studies kendo, drinks sake, dresses in often outlandish-looking Western fashions instead of the traditional kimono, and is not as interested in housework as she is in literature. She also rejects the idea of arranged marriages and believes in a woman's right to a career and to marry for love.
Haikara-san's best friends are the beautiful Tamaki, who is much more feminine than Haikara-san but equally interested in women's rights, and Ranmaru, a young man who was raised to play female roles in the kabuki theater and as a result has acquired very effeminate mannerisms. Haikara-san's betrothed is Shinobu Ijūin, a second lieutenant in the army.
It's been a while since I seen international news. Albeit, I forget to click on world when it's default to USA and Canada. GThen again ANN doesn't really report a lot of world news. I have to rely on UK Anime and Fandompost
