In the beginning of the video, Subaru and Felt are walking together. Subaru comments that he would like to at least walk with her in a more beautiful place, holding hands. Felt asks if Subaru has a thing for younger girls, and Subaru replies that he is actually more into older women. Subaru tells her not be so tense around him, but if she really wants to get rid of him, at least lead him directly to the place they're headed instead of leading him on a detour. Shocked, Felt asks how he knew she was doing this. Subaru says that he has good directional senses, but in fact, he is only bluffing.
After Felt agrees to lead him more directly to his destination. They end up having a conversation about the world's system of recording time. Felt shows him what they use as a clock: a magic crystal that shows what time it is by changing colors. Midnight to 6 a.m. is the Wind Period, represented by green, the next six hours is the Fire Period, represented by red, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. is the Water Period, represented by blue, and finally, the final six hours of the day is the Earth Period, represented by yellow. When Felt tries to explain the color system, Subaru interrupts her, saying he's heard enough. Felt says that he has quite an attitude for someone who asked her about the system in the first place.
New characters, drill loli, and pink/blue maids. Yeah, I like the maids. It's weird we are in another loop. Didn't expect to be that way. I never encounter a show with multiple time loops aside from Blazblue that only focused on one time loop.
What triggered it? He wasn't killed. It's a mysetery cliffhanger.
Ep 4. Love how laidback our MC is, dude was delivering "combacks/tsukomi's" everywhere. So now we have loli twins and a clown.... the way that clown talks is weird but other than that amazing episode with an amazing cliffhanger, onto the next bloodbath!
Ep 5 is probably the best episode I seen so far. You have this sense of hope and his drive to keep that promise getting a date with Emilia. Also, Rem's character is fleshed out here while last episode was about Emilia or Ram.
You can tell the master likes having his property parallel with contrasting colors.
Oh my, the sense of despair after the lovely credits. I feel bad for him, but it's so brutal. His arm was cut off and then he imploded into a bloody mess. Subaru has it hard especially with time loops.
The culprit is definitely a magic user, but Beatrice and the master don't seem to be evil at all. It has to be someone else.
In the episode, Subaru is talking to Rem and Ram about the dinner he ate, and tells the two that it was delicious. Ram says that it was obviously delicious because her beloved sister Rem made it. After commenting on how "touching" it is to see the sister who didn't even make the dinner be so confident about it, he asks them why Rem made the fox sign with her fingers during dinner. Ram is confused, but tells him that the sign he is referring to is one that Rem uses to express happiness. Rem notes that when she showed him that sign, Subaru showed her a sign of his own: a frog. Although he did it on a whim, he finds himself apologizing because Ram's attitude leads him to believe that it was an offensive sign. Rem assures him that the frog symbol means nothing in their world.
Moving along in their conversation, Ram calls Subaru "Barusu" once again. When Subaru confirms that she plans to continue to call him this, he calls her "Ramchi." When she repeats it back to him in confusion, he says "Yeah. Isn't it cute, Ramchi?" Before Ram can say anything about the new nickname, though, Rem tells Subaru that if they don't go to the next place soon, they won't finish their work. Ram tells him that he's a failure as a servant since he holds Rem back.
In the beginning of the episode, Puck apologizes to Emilia for falling asleep at an important time, but Emilia tells him it's OK since everyone is safe. Emilia changes the subject and mentions how it was the first time she'd ever seen Reinhard swing a sword and how strong he was. They start talking about what kinds of Protections he might have, including a Protection that stops him from being back-attacked and a Protection that allows him to die at least once without consequence. Puck then jokes that maybe he has a Protection of not mistaking salt for sugar, and Emilia says she wishes she had that power. However, Puck says that because Emilia's face when she fails at cooking is funny, she doesn't need it.
The two then begin talking about Subaru. Because Subaru only asked for Emilia's name in return for doing something for her, and because of his manner of clothing, Emilia notes that Subaru is quite strange. Puck says that he definitely felt Subaru's desperation for Emilia, and talks about how angry Subaru became when Erza attacked Emilia. The two decide that even though he looks suspicious, he's actually a good person.
Ep.6: Subaru was smart enough to ask to stay as a guest while he tries to obtain info
the red ogre and blue ogre fairy taly obviously corresponds to the twin maids and it's revealed that the blue haired one was the one that keeps killing Subaru. Hoping to hear more about the maids backstory and the blue haired one's reason for killing Subaru
Taka: Thanks Master Menos! I'll work on finishing the Winter 2020 guide.

Dream: My second Funi poll is done. Titles I will be watching and reviewing will include Chobits, Samurai Champloo, Spice and Wolf, Gankutsuou, and Dance in the Vampire Bund. Will let folks know which one I start off tomorrow at some point.

Dream: First anime I will sample among the Funi titles is Chobits. As a heads up, the series on Funi's Youtube channel is missing the two recap episodes the series aired. Not that I'll be missing those however.

Dream: Hmmmm... looks like the version of Vampire Bund I'm seeing on Funi's YouTube channel's an edited version. A couple minutes of episode 2 were clearly removed with Mina in nothing but underwear battling human assassins. Then again, recall there was a good...

Dream: Not sure if I should be donning the nostalgia goggles or not giving a damn. Looks like the original Digimon Adventure series is getting a reboot airing starting in the Spring season.
Jan 21, 2020 3:21:13 GMT
Taka: I'll watch it if there's nothing catching my eye in Spring. winter 2020 was a weak anime season for me.
Jan 22, 2020 18:29:46 GMT
Dream: Wouldn't say it's all bad for me. Have a few titles holding my interest. Just it typically doesn't have as many major titles of note that would hold me over.

Dream: Done with Vampire Bund. Will be working on a review of it before I hop into the next Funi series. Hoping to get it up either tonight or tomorrow, depending on how lengthy my thoughts get.
