Ep.6: yep they are rehashing plot points from the first series; the school being shut down if enrollment doesn't increase, the third years in Sunshine used to be in a idol group like Nico was in the first season, and even shooting a pv. Hoping this show will borrow less from it's predecessor and be more like the original

Ep.9: finally got the background on why the third years quit being school idols. Kanan was looking out for Mari's future yet those two failed to communicate with each other and Dia stuck in thebmiddle. Pretty great to see them make up each other, the hug was a sweet moment
Now Aquors finally has nine members and their song at the end was good. Also the third years also named their group Aquorz and Dia was the one that wrote Aquors in the sand for Chika and the others to find, Dia was secretly helping them from the beginning
Their latest recruit is Yoshiko or Yohane the Fallen Angel. It's always the dark haired gal chuunibyou as the fallen angel well Art Club has a brown/orange? haired gal. I wonder how many people are in an Idol Group? I don't know idols.
Also, one of the girls is technologically distant.
According to the latest Oricon report, "Yume Kataru yori Yume Utaou" (Let's sing about dreams, rather than talking about them), the ED song of the ongoing TV anime Love Live! Sunshine!! performed by its nine-member voice actress unit Aqours, sold a very good 40,000 copies in its first week, ranking 3rd in the weekly single chart. The unit's 5th single was released on August 24 from Lantis, and this is the highest weekly ranking for them for the third time. Their 1st single "Kimi no Kokoro wa Kagayaiteirukai?" in October 2015 and 2nd "Koi ni Naritai AQUARIUM" in April 2016 also ranked 3rd in their debut week.
Their next 6th single "Yume de Yozora wo Terashitai/Mijuku DREAMER" containing the insert songs for the anime's 6th and 9th episodes will be available on September 14, then a yet-titled 7th single is set for a release on October 12.
Taka, idol groups can difer in number of members, AKB48 is the largest group that started out with 49 members and now has over 130 members and some idol groups have sub units. For example, µ's the idol group from the first Love Live series has 3 sub units, each consisting of 3 members. Even Aquors from Sunshine is following this formula
Also not surprised at those sale numbers, my playlist mainly consist of µ's
Ep.10: beach and training camp episode that didn't have much training, more focussed on Riko's development as she decides on what to do about her piano but decides to stick with Aquors as she finally starts to love her school and friends
Ep.11: with Riko in Tokyo it's up to You to fill in her spot for Aquor's performance but You's jealously of how close Riko and Chika gotten together affects You's performance. Chika helps You find a solution
Really liked who Riko's piano performance synced up to Aquor's performance
Also Mari back to her old habits. echi of the week Taka?
Ep.12: Aquors passed the qualifiers but wonder what made µ's so great. Eventually figure out that what made µ's so great was that they were being themselves and chasing their own dreams which made them shine and Aquors shouldn't be following µ's but to be follow their own dreams so they can shine too
Saint Snow was actually kind of nice
was that mysterious girl they met Hanayo?
Mari never changes, possible ecchi of the week Taka?
I must have mixed it with another show I was watching. Oh yeah, thanks for the ecchi of the week. If it was the old site, I would have post it. Groping isn't that risque. Stupid Proboards. Lucky, Mastermenos doesn't check in this thread.
Dream: Will post a little later what the next voted anime will be that I will watch and review.

Dream: Hmmmm... looks like the version of Vampire Bund I'm seeing on Funi's YouTube channel's an edited version. A couple minutes of episode 2 were clearly removed with Mina in nothing but underwear battling human assassins. Then again, recall there was a good...

Dream: Not sure if I should be donning the nostalgia goggles or not giving a damn. Looks like the original Digimon Adventure series is getting a reboot airing starting in the Spring season.
Jan 21, 2020 3:21:13 GMT
Taka: I'll watch it if there's nothing catching my eye in Spring. winter 2020 was a weak anime season for me.

Dream: Wouldn't say it's all bad for me. Have a few titles holding my interest. Just it typically doesn't have as many major titles of note that would hold me over.

Dream: Done with Vampire Bund. Will be working on a review of it before I hop into the next Funi series. Hoping to get it up either tonight or tomorrow, depending on how lengthy my thoughts get.
