Coming on May 19th, Rei Hiroe's exotic action manga Black Lagoon returns to manga magazine Sunday GX. Along with this is the announcement that the 2006 Madhouse anime adaptation and its Second Barrage follow-up are getting a re-broadcast on Tokyo MX starting June 6th.
Chapter 87 from "The Wired Red Wild Card" arc was released in February 2014. This was collected in 10, released in May 2014 in Japan and April 2015 in North America. The story features the return of "Greenback" Jan Bhai and introduces Chinese hacker Li Xinlin.
The manga picks back up on this storyline.

The calendar covers the period of April 2018 to March 2019. In addition to previously published color manga illustrations, the calendar includes newly colored illustrations. The official Twitter account for Shogakukan's Monthly Sunday GX magazine revealed on Friday that Rei Hiroe will resume the Black Lagoon manga in the magazine in September, with "more surprises planned."

he August issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Sunday GX magazine revealed on Friday that Rei Hiroe's Black Lagoon manga will have its first spinoff manga by Tatsuhiko Ida titled Black Lagoon: Sōji-ya Sawyer - Kaitai! Gore Gore Musume (Black Lagoon: Sawyer the Cleaner - Dismemberment! Gore Gore Girl) starting on September 19. The manga will focus on Sawyer, a freelance cleaner in Roanapur's underworld who disposes of bodies using her chainsaw.
