I was about to review Room Mate by itself. Then I realized I could review Room Mate and OneRoom together. I had watched OneRoom a long time ago. Decided to do a dual review since it will be interesting to note the similarities and differences.

Structure of the Anime Series
OneRoom dedicates 4 episodes to a heroine. You get a special, intimate time in a different role with each heroine. None of the heroines interact with each other.
Yui Hanasaka - you are her senpai who helps her study for university entrance exams
Natsuki Momohara - you are her older brother
Moka Aoshima - you are her childhood friend
Room Mate acts more like a reverse harem since you meet all the guys in one episode, the first episode, and they interact with you and each other. It's a combined stories as it switches you to the next guy for about 2 episodes per guy until the end, they compete for the protagonist which is you, the female manager.
Both anime does do male and female gaze and nudity. However, for nudity, Room Mate strips the guys naked by "magic" during theme songs while OneRoom only does shower scenes but not for all girls. Sometimes, there was this innuendo scene with Room Mate where Shinya was using "magic fingers technique" on Aoi. It turns out he was tickling the guy. It doesn't help that Aoi was moaning and then a final shout that sounds like an orgasm.
In terms of animation and details in scenes, OneRoom has more vibrant, sharper illustrations than Room Mate.
I do like the interactivity between guys in Room Mate as it feels like watching a traditional reverse harem and then the one-on-one private interaction in OneRoom. In OneRoom, it appears you are more of an observer and listener rather than helping the girls while in Room Mate, you actually do actions such as giving tea to Shinya who likes to tease you by stripping in front of you. You still listen and observe the guys. For some parts of the story, both shows have the POV person make a non verbal decision.
In the end, I like both series equally or so. They cater to different demographics but you can still enjoy both regardless of what the series is aiming for a particular gender.
Old Man Dream: ...later titles in the Macross franchise can finally come stateside with all involved parties finally coming to a truce over how to handle things with the Macross trademark and all later anime in the franchise associated with it.

Taka: I see. A global release will benefit it. Gundam did pretty good. The only few franchises that are only popular in Japan but not popular in the west - Yokai Watch comes to mind.

Master Menos: F for Respects. DMX did all his work while suffering from a drug addiction, and I almost never knew until a point. I hope his next life treats him far better.
