Genres: Science Fiction, Action/Adventure, Drama, Comedy Network: Disney XD Adaptation: comic book series Sunfire and Big Hero 6 published by Marvel Comics Release Date: ?
Plot: The series continues the adventures of 14-year-old tech genius Hiro and his robot pal Baymax. Joining the pair on their journey is control freak Wasabi, scientist Honey Lemon, fanboy Fred and no-nonsense Go Go Tomago, whom together form the Big Hero 6 superhero team. As the new prodigy at San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, Hiro faces daunting academic challenges, not to mention the social trials of being the little man on campus. The stakes are also raised for the high-tech heroes when they must protect their city from an array of scientifically enhanced villains. (Source: Disney Wikia)
While the episode focuses on Honey Lemon and Go Go's relationship as Go Go feels annoyed with Honey Lemon, Heathcliff the butler, I feel, overshadowed them. Yes, we can have comedy and serious and touching moments. It didn't feel natural or being a main thing in the episode. Baymax kept checking up on Go Go. Honey Lemon barely interacts with Go Go for their relationship to evolve. In a way, there was nothing to gain as two girls didn't do much to evolve their relationship.
That was a very anticlimactic end to the Liv Amara arc in how things resolve. I don't mind seeing the heroes being defeated. The way they ended it was very unsatisfying when you have an interesting plot and villain.
Finished season 2. It was okay. They didn't build up Trina. They just force her in to close the feud between Chief Cruz and Hiro's team. We close the season with Hiro's speech about continuing Tadashi's legacy of helping people.
Old Man Dream: Well, I went ahead and already spoiled myself over later events in the series. Looks like that gets fairly messy with handling its little plot twist involving Rika, Satoko, and the mentioned story element having some assume there's some sort of...

Old Man Dream: ...Umineko crossover. May have liked the idea with better handling of the story development. But it's basically made Satoko a rather unlikable character now.

Taka: It's a gigantic mech franchise. I haven't seen Macross myself. I know it's a big one.

Old Man Dream: Guess we don't get it. Make things short and sweet: Through some unintentional legal wranglings, Harmony Gold's owned international rights to the Macross name for decades and its Japanese developers, disgusted by the move, had not allowed...

Taka: I see. A global release will benefit it. Gundam did pretty good. The only few franchises that are only popular in Japan but not popular in the west - Yokai Watch comes to mind.

Master Menos: F for Respects. DMX did all his work while suffering from a drug addiction, and I almost never knew until a point. I hope his next life treats him far better.
