Plot: When young adventurer Laios and his company are attacked and soundly thrashed by a dragon deep in a dungeon, the party loses all its money and provisions...and a member! They're eager to go back and save her, but there is just one problem: If they set out with no food or coin to speak of, they're sure to starve on the way! But Laios comes up with a brilliant idea: "Let's eat the monsters!" Slimes, basilisks, and even dragons...none are safe from the appetites of these dungeon-crawling gourmands!
Just in time for Summer Wonder Festival 2019, two more heroes from Ryoko Kui's Delicious in Dungeon (known as Dungeon Meshi in Japan), a fantasy / gourmet manga about a party of intrepid adventurers dining their way through a perilous subterranean ecosystem, have been rendered as Charagumin resin kits by Volks Incorporated. The new Charagumin kits are color-coded, easy-to-assemble, easy-to-paint resin model kits for Chilchuck (above), the party's halfling rogue, and Marcille (below), the party's beleaguered elven mage. Marcille's kit also includes additional face parts for an exasperated expression as she realizes she's about to eat something terrifying.
Volks Incorporated previously released kits for Laios, the party's monster-obsessed human fighter, and Senshi, the party's dwarven culinary expert. Each resin kit retails for 6200 yen ($57.55 US) plus tax, and they will be available for sale beginning on July 28, 2019, at online stores and at the Summer Wonder Festival 2019 event at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Mihama Ward, Chiba, Japan.
