Quick Review, where I review past anime movies from this year that I did not have the time to review due to school. I do want to talk about them since I like talking about movies and sharing my thoughts. It won’t be as long as my other reviews, hence called quick review. Now let us jump into the review.
I want you pancreas is about a guy who has a problem making friends, befriending an outgoing girl who he discovers that she has pancreatic cancer. The movie had a lot of great theme of how life is short and can end at any time, cherished it, how we often do not know the problem people are facing and ask us to accept our own mortality and make the best of life. Which are all great thing, but it's in a generic movie. As it does feel similar to lots of romance anime, except not done as well. For example, the main male character has a problem making friends, but they basically just state it and never really make us feel for him. He was just somewhat boring of a character. The female main character who has pancreatic cancer is also just generic, but a fun character that does have great chemistry with the main lead. I also do like the theme of not knowing how much pain a person it's in despite them looking happy, but I did wish they go more in-depth with her struggle with cancer. I get is not supposed to be showing her struggle with cancer, but it would have been nice if one of the two main characters were able to show more their vulnerability. Granted near the end, the movie did manage to make my eye go a bit watery, which shows how powerful the message of the movie is, but the actual ending felt underwhelming. Plus the one of the twist was foreshadowed so heavily, I am surprised they did not shout it. Granted I did forget about the thing they foreshadow since I did get a bit into the movie despite how generic it is. The animation is nothing special, but there is one good looking scene. Over all this is a generic movie with a powerful message. I give this a C+. It's basically the okay version of Silent Voice.
Old Man Dream: ...later titles in the Macross franchise can finally come stateside with all involved parties finally coming to a truce over how to handle things with the Macross trademark and all later anime in the franchise associated with it.

Taka: I see. A global release will benefit it. Gundam did pretty good. The only few franchises that are only popular in Japan but not popular in the west - Yokai Watch comes to mind.

Master Menos: F for Respects. DMX did all his work while suffering from a drug addiction, and I almost never knew until a point. I hope his next life treats him far better.
