Its finally time for me to start working on Hardcore Leveling Warrior's Character Profile. Since, HCLW has so many skills, items and feats, this will be a long character profile. As such, its going to take me awhile to finish, so this is a work in progress
Name: Gamer Tag - Hardcore Leveling Warrior (HCLW), Real Name - Ethan Gong Series: Hardcore Leveling Warrior Classification: Gambler Alias: HCLW, Snob,
For the purposes of this character profile, I will be covering HCLW at his Rank #1 level
Destructive Capacity - At least Island Level, likely higher Durability - At least Island Level, likely higher Speed - Supersonic (difficult to determine) Intelligence - In general Average but in Combat, Very High
Lucid Adventure The final goal of Roy Han, The Chairman of GIGA, to recreate the world he envisioned in his story. It was originally believed to be a 'Virtual Reality Game' that had been created by the technology of Giga. A world that connects to the consciousness of the players as they sleep. It was later revealed to be in fact a 'real' world created by The God's Toy, Zero. It is a sub-space connected through the players consciousness, their dreams.
Virtual Reality Game, 'Lucid Adventure' is a game that can be played in your dreams and because it is a limitless sandbox game that is basically a second world, it has managed to amass a huge following. The game has grown so much that it is impacting the real world . The In-Game Rankers became so popular that they shoot commercials like celebrities. Not only that, there are more jobs increasing depending on how capable you are in the game. Victory and success in the game equal the wealth and honor in real life.
Around 3 years ago, there were about 10 million Logins in Lucid Adventure. By the time the of the PvP Round in The Combat Tournament, it was more difficult to find someone who doesn't play Lucid Adventure than someone who does.
In short, Lucid Adventure is an alternate reality created by Roy Han (Lucas Han's grandfather) for people to have fun and fulfill their dreams. While it was initiated created it was thought to only be a Game but when Sam Han brought a large diamond from Lucid Adventure into the real world, he discovered that Lucid Adventure is actually its own separate reality that can be connected to the real world.
Ranker The stronger players in Lucid Adventure. They range in power from 100-1 with 1 being the absolute strongest player in Lucid Adventure. It should be noted that the term Player only applies to real people. Lucid Adventure has Non-Playable Character, Gods, Monsters, Dragons, etc... that can exceed the Ranker system.
Gambler HCLW's class allows him to to take other players stats and skills in a Legal PK as a reward, allowing him to use Swordsman Class skills like Moonlight Slash and Wizard Class skills like Hellfire.
He can borrow stats and skills from party members when he is in a PK/PvP pays them back with interest. He can use attacks that can give random damage based on luck.
Normally in MMORPG games, there is a bottoming out of growth effecuiency and a cap on stats so it impossible to Max out all the stats, but with HCLW being able to take stats, he is possibly the only player in Lucid Adventure that can achieve the Max Level granting him power that cannot be rivaled.
Hardcore Leveling Warrior becoming the #1 Ranker and becoming an All-Stat despite the huge risk of his Class is testament to his strategic judgement.
Nightmare The power of Nightmare seems to come directly from Zero, who infected her own core with a curse. This is the reason that although Nightmare grants temporary power, it ends up destroying everyone and everything as it is Zeros will.
The use of Nightmare powers up a characters stats and skills significantly. However, the infected player begins to lose their sanity and are filled with a drive to destroy everything.
The use of Nightmare is banned in Lucid Adventure but some players have found ways around that.
Nightmare provides players with massive stat boosts (made HCLW's strength and regeneration 77 times stronger), Nullifies Defenses, bypasses stats, bypasses items and negates regeneration (cancelled HCLW recovery ability):
The Sword of Honor - The 7 Truths HCLW's signature weapon. Part of the Golden Armor Set, the Sword of Honor is an immensely powerful weapon. The sword can split a mountain in half just from being dropped on the ground:
These are skills which are always active regardless of HCLW's other actions
Absolute Luck - HCLW's Personal Attribute, a passive skill that grants Hardcore Leveling Warrior overwhelming luck that aids him in combat and non-combat situations. It allows Hardcore Leveling Warrior to be extremely lucky in times of crisis. It allows him to win gambling games, deliver maximum damage in skills that give random damage and get the items from defeated bosses. The conditions for triggering it have not been revealed. This gives him 99% accuracy with his Lucky Coins and Gambling:
Master Survival Instinct - A passive ability that lets HCLW instantly see the "danger" of his opponent. This ability can not only perceive how dangerous an opponent is, it also allows him to see his opponent's stats and skills. Using this passive ability, HCLW can identify a danger character and which abilities said character has that pose a threat to him.
Auto-Reflector - an automatic reflective force that deflects incoming magic and attacks away from HCLW. The Auto-Relector has been used to deflect Light's Demonic Gaze, which allows him to scan anything:
Auto-Reflector can supposedly reflect physical attacks as well. When Secretary Park, attacks HCLW with the Yin and Yang Lasso, an alert is triggered saying "Failed to Activate Auto-Reflector. This Skill Cannot be Dodged". So its possible that if the attack wasn't unavoidable, the Auto-Reflector would have deflected the physical skill.
As the only All-Stat player, HCLW has the maximal level of magical power. He even goes as far as to comment that his magic is stronger than Demonic Light's after being hit with the Island sized Mana Storm:
Blazing Tiger - a large tiger of flames that charges at the opponent. Unfortunately, this spell with dispelled by Demonic Light before it could cause any damage but what HCLW's magic is really stronger than Demonic Lights, this spell could have been at least island level in DC:
Rapid Fire - A Hundred Spell - HCLW casts 100 spells in an instant. This spell was strong enough to knockdown Demonic Light and HCLW was worried he was about to die so he healed him to continue the fight:
Magic Magnet - a skill that rounds up small projectiles into a massive attack. In HCLW's case, he can even use large profiles. HCLW uses this spell to combine 6 Hellfire spells to create the Devil's Explosion:
HCLW's specific ability. It allows him to buff himself with stat increases, skills or even change his evasion. He has 10 lucky coins in a battle (actually more but I'll save those for later). Each coin can double a specific stat. Normally, most players would avoid the Lucky Coin ability. When you think about it, the risk outweighs the potential benefit. A 50/50 chance to double your stat if you guess the right side of the coin but if you guess wrong, it doubles your opponent's stat instead. Now what would happen if you changed that 50/50 into a 99/1 chance for success instead? That's where HCLW's Personal Attribute comes into play. He has a 99% chance to always guess his Lucky Coins correct:
A Lucky Coin could give 100% Avoidance to the next attack (Note 100% Avoidance is overruled by 100% Accuracy so if any attack is Unavoidable or 100% Accurate, Lucky Coins cannot grant 100% Avoidance to that attack):
This is actually more significant then it appears. Rewind was on a 1 year cooldown period and yet, with a Lucky Coin, that cooldown was bypassed and Dark was able to use Rewind:
Not only did it bypass the cooldown it also gave the absolute best result possible. When Rewind was originally used on HCLW, it reverted him into his Rank #3 self but when Rewind was used with a Lucky Coin, 100% Success, HCLW was reverted to his Rank #1 self:
Dark Coin - HCLW opens a Hidden Gate Window and pulls out a Dark Lucky Coin. This coin gives HCLW 50% Nightmarization, substantially boosting his stats (see Nightmare above). Unlike other players who are effected by Nightmare, HCLW doesn't go insane and is able to skill function normally:
Lucky Punch - a slot roller appears above HCLW with 5 rolling numbers. The numbers range from 0-9. The power of the Lucky Punch is based on the numbers rolled. With HCLW's Absolute Luck, he always gets 99,999. This punch was strong enough to kill Nightmare Rigos in a single strike:
All-In - HCLW's Ultimate Skill, it appears to be similar to Lucky Punch. A slot machine appears behind HCLW with he loads with Lucky Coins. The higher the number, the higher the damage he deals. This attack was strong enough to force Zero to run away:
Moonlight Slash - One of HCLW's signature sword skills. This skill was actually copied from Master Swordsman. Master Swordsman developed the Moonlight Slash after witnessing Roy Yan's clone using the skill Lacrate. The Moonlight Slash can easily cut a mountain in half:
Lacerate - the strongest sword skill in the weapon. Lacerate was created to by Roy Han's (The God of Lucid Adventure) combat skill. HCLW was given this skill as a quest reward from Roy Han (his clone actually):
With his Auto-Reflector deactivated, Demonic Light hits HCLW with his most powerful spell, . After the smoke clears, HCLW is seen starting there with some scrapes which immediate heal and some minor damage to his armor which is immediately repaired:
I completely forgot about HCLW's feats during the 3rd round of the God of Combat's tournament. In his battle with Feng, HCLW switched to mage gear and showed that he can Read the Path of an attack and dodge it, lay down 5 barriers at once, Slow Down an area causing a specific body part to move slower (like an arm) and even force his opponent to use specific skills like making them teleport away.
Will update the profile soon.
"No matter what happens...I shall gift this world and the world beyond with apocalypse..."
Dream: Last anime I will be covering is Gankutsuou: Count of Monte Cristo. Will start watching it tomorrow. Not sure how much longer I can keep myself up at this point.

Taka: Depending on my energy, I can watched up to 2 AM. Usually with work, I fall asleep on anime series that don't have a lot of action.
Feb 9, 2020 3:24:18 GMT
Master Menos: Finally got out of the fast food job. It was a graceful exit, but to be honest, I'll miss some of those guys. Got a sprained ankle from it since September, so I'll finally focus on healing that back at the family home.

HungryWorld: Well if anyone remembers what happened to Pingu in the City, with it being joke 10/10 scored on MAL just to get it into the top 10 anime... well now is Ishuzoku Reviewers' turn. Seems that in response to Funimation's cancel people boosted the score hard.
Feb 11, 2020 2:11:38 GMT
Taka: What? That sounds so weird.
Feb 11, 2020 5:36:23 GMT
Master Menos: It's damn awesome to be honest. It shot to 1st Place!

Dream: On the subject of MAL, it looks like the admin are planning to tweak their scoring system for titles to reduce the likelihood of voters artificially inflating the ranking of certain titles.
Feb 13, 2020 22:47:26 GMT
Master Menos: My V-Day present will be belated this year because I "Had some trouble with ol' Johnny." (That's your hint.)
Feb 15, 2020 4:17:13 GMT
Dream: The joys of adulthood. Joking aside, plan to at least attempt to wrap up Gankutsuou sometime early to mid next week so I can get done with my Funi voted titles. Afterward, not doing any more voting for a while considering how long this had been taking.
Feb 15, 2020 16:50:30 GMT
Dream: Done with Gankutsuou. Will be working to get a review up for it by sometime tonight.
Feb 16, 2020 20:57:26 GMT
Taka: Great job, Dream! I should do some reviews, too.
Feb 17, 2020 5:24:39 GMT
Dream: Looks like MAL's currently down due to the site getting hit by a major denial-of-service attack, just as a heads up.
Feb 18, 2020 17:55:23 GMT
Taka: I added 2 polls tonight. Also, I wonder why MAL was down. Crunchyroll also had it, too.
Feb 20, 2020 4:05:24 GMT
Dream: Not sure about Crunchyroll. For MAL, the DoS attacks may have been retaliation by those who dabbled into manipulating the site's scoring system for certain anime titles. The admin on MAL announced they would be overhauling the system to prevent said...
Feb 20, 2020 13:42:15 GMT
Dream: ...manipulation last week.
