The purpose of this thread is to explain the function of the "Divine Design" cards, and why all feats related to them and the world of "Upper Reality" (the territory of Divine Design) will be excluded from the GetBackers respect threads I'll make.
In-story explanations and demonstration of properties:
Divine Design are cards that grant their wielders, known as "Dominators", access to a parallel dimension known as "Upper Reality", as well as pull other people into said dimension. It could be interpreted as a Dominator, by the use of the DD cards, creating a dimensional intersection around them that passes into Upper Reality.
Upper Reality can be thought of as a dimension of a partially-astral nature, where everything within it is dictated by the mind and soul, allowing Dominators to achieve whatever they set their hearts to do so, no matter how absurd, so long as they have the will to do it, free of all doubt.
Sheer will, the strength of one's spirit, is what controls Upper Reality, and all that transpires within it affects the real world. If someone were to die in Upper Reality (which would amount to the destruction of their soul), they would die in the real world. If someone were to attempt walking through a door without opening it in Upper Reality, so long as they truly believe they could, then their body would pass through said door in the real world.
Feats' omission justification:
As seen with Ginji, Toshiki, and Qinlong (see images under the spoiler tag), simply being within the world of Upper Reality boosts one's power in every aspect, as their strength of will is "converted" into power within the territory of Divine Design, making them stronger than they actually are in the real world, regardless of whether they use the Divine Design cards or not.
Based on that, I will omit all feats that took place within Upper Reality from Ginji's and Ban's respect threads (which I'll be making soon).
Old Man Dream: Hmmmmm... if I had to pick five anime from this year I'd consider favorites in no particular order, would go with the following: Beastars Season 2, Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song, Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop, Megalobox 2, and Kageki Shoujo.

Old Man Dream: Know it's a bit unusual for me to pick a movie with Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop. But that one's on Netflix for those curious.

Old Man Dream: Only brought up 2021 anime because I'm largely set with viewing stuff for the year. Might go back to sample some stuff since I think ANN's gonna post their favorites for this year. Otherwise, that's what I have for right now.
