Monster Musume Alias: Everyday Life with Monster Girls Publisher: Tokuma Shoten, Seven Seas Magazine: Monthly Comic Ryū Mangaka: Okayado Demographic: Seinen Genre/Theme: Fantasy, Comedy, Harem Read Online: None,
Plot: When a hapless human teenager named Kurusu Kimihito is inducted as a "volunteer" into the government exchange program, his world is turned upside down. A snake-like lamia named Miia comes to live with him, and it is Kurusu's job to take care of her and make sure she integrates into his everyday life. Unfortunately for Kurusu, Miia is undeniably sexy, and the law against interspecies breeding is very strict. Even worse, when a ravishing centaur girl and a flirtatious harpy move in, what's a full-blooded teenage human with raging hormones to do?
Since Mon and Tues were dead in new shows for the fall 2015 season, I read Monster Musume and caught to ch. 36 I believe after I got bored from studying MGMT.
Wow, things got really ecchi. Kimihito is a perv. I always thought he was an innocent guy. During the farm scene where a sheep girl met him, he was staring at her chest and asking (in his head) for the overall strap to reveal her nipple.
We finally found Mastermenos' favorite monster girl, a cowgirl. Holstarus or something? I also found my favorite monster girl, a Yuki-onna at the hot springs.
It was a fun read. Better get back to school work.
Agreed, since the series is monthly, it's best to wait and binge read the chapters. I think I read too fast, but I guess because I had watched the anime. I skimmed those chapters pretty quickly. Forgot to comment on Mero's mini arc. That was a fun chapter. Rachnee meets a friend who shares the same tastes.
Taka Yup binge reading is best for series with this pacing. I guess it'd have been best for you with Monster Musume to pause after all the chapter in which the attic got wrecked since that's where those chapters with no story behind them at all started.
I honestly wish the pacing was faster though, like the once a 2 weeks or once a week. That way i wouldn't get bored waiting for the next chapter and reread the chapters 3 times because of boredom.
Read up to Ch. 37 - learned the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Like mother, like daughter. One thing to nitpick. I know this new chapter is not in Yen Press as of now. The phrasing or what Mero calls Kurusu, Dear Sir, sounds a bit awkward. I'm not an English saavy person since English is my 2nd language. What's the right phrasing or word.
Miia calls Kurusu, darling
Cerea calls him master
Forgot what the rest called him by
So we have seen Miia's mother, Cerea's mother (father was seen in flashback), Papi's mother, and now Mero's mother. Does Suu even have a mother? What's left is Suu and Rachnee.
Do have a question. The boyfriend of the Mero's mother - is he the father of Mero?
Taka Actually Taka the phrasing 'Dear Sir' while it looks awkward i believe it's not too awkward when you know it's spoken by nobility, since they tend to use it when politely talking to a fellow man. While Mero's use of it is a bit odd since it normally indicates that there's no relationship whatsoever, it doesn't eye too awkward. In the official translations she calls him beloved which is more odd to me IMO, doesn't make the sentences feel right.
For what the rest calls Kimihito: Suu calls him master as well, Miia calls him darling, Rachnera calls him honey and Smith calls him darling as well.
As for that boyfriend of Mero's mother, that's not the father. Mero called the king the father when she was shocked stating that her mother cheated on her father with that human boyfriend.
Monster Musume: I ♥ Monster Girls (Monster Musume no Iru Nichijō 4-Koma Anthology) is coming to the USA. See article
Monster Musume: I ♥ Monster Girls is a collection of original four-panel spinoffs of OKAYADO's Monster Musume manga. The stories are by various artists, including Shake-O (Nurse Hitomi's Monster Infirmary), SaQ Tottori (Kyōkai Senjō no Limbo), Cool-Kyou-Sinnjya (I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying, Komori-san Can't Decline), and others. Shake-O drew the cover of the first volume (pictured right).
Last Edit: Nov 6, 2015 21:59:32 GMT by Taka: I forgot the summary
Out of the Monster Musume news, this is the only one that safe for work in this site to post. I couldn't post the Lemur girl because her buttocks were bare naked. Proboards would shit their pants if I posted this pic.
You can tell I hate the image policy.
In this news, Okayado posted a Tweet photo of the Monster Musume doujin he bought from Comiket.
Despite ongoing concerns of Comiket possibly violating international copyright laws, many creators and artists appreciate the convention for the fan culture it fosters and the artistic skills it incubates, and many manga artists get their start as dōjin artists.
OKAYADO, the creator of Monster Musume, says he has been to Comiket since he was a high schooler, although now he appreciates it for a different reason: His own manga is common fodder for dōjinshi. In a series of tweets posted on December 30, he revealed that he visited Comiket incognito and came out with a sizable Monster Musume dōjinshi stash. His only comments during the exchanges with merchants were "fufufu" (a kind of laugh). He claimed that this was something he'd always wanted to do and proclaimed it "extremely satisfying."
You shouldn't complain about that aspect. I'm planning to buy the tankobon to show my support since there is no legal streaming of the manga series unless you have a Kindle, Ipad due to Yen Press routing their digital manga through Amazon, Google and such.
The official website for the anime adaptation of OKAYADO's Monster Musume manga announced on Saturday that the 11th compiled volume of the manga will bundle an original anime DVD (OAD). The volume will ship on November 12, 2016 and preorders must be placed before September 19.
The OAD will adapt the manga's chapter 17 from the fourth volume, where Miia, Cerea, Mero, and Kurusu go to the gym's pool.
Director Tatsuya Yoshihara and writer Kazuyuki Fudeyasu will return for the OAD. Seva will animate the episode.
Taka: When I first got Disney Plus last year?, it didn't have a lot back then either. I think they added some new movies especially new ones. Like HBO Max and the defunct DC Universe, they are trying to focus on newer exclusive shows instead of building their
