Persona Q Publisher: Kodansha Magazine: Bessatsu Shonen Magazine Author: Sou Tobita Artist: Sou Tobita Demographic: Shounen Genre/Theme: Fantasy, Mystery, Supernatural Read Online: Crunchyroll (P3 and P4)
Persona Q, the latest RPG in Atlus's Persona series, is now a manga! Serialization has begun for two sides of the story: Persona 3 and Persona 4. The split plot follows two protagonists, who were never fated to meet, and their friends. But as their adventures progress, the two groups' stories start to merge! One stormy autumn night, the P3 gang is bummed that Gekkoukan High School's Culture Festival was canceled due to the weather. But out of nowhere, they hear a bell begin to ring. The next thing they know..
A lot of portrait jumping. Seeing Akihiko and Shinjiro butting heads reminds me of fond memories from Persona 3 FES (which I started this spring of 2015). P3 Protagonist doesn't talk a lot compared to P4 Protagonist (unless I'm wrong) after reading P3's side.
Note: Saw Chapter 4 is up on P4 manga via Crunchyroll. I'll read that later.
Fun chapter to read. Those introductions for Persona 4 and the similarities in group dynamics. I really should play the game. I wonder what the differences are between the manga and video game version.
Got some exposition on both games and what their stories are such as Persona 4's TV world and Persona 3's Dark Hour and Tartarus. If I had played Persona 3 before 4, I would find the notion of a TV world ridiculous.
Look, Marie joined the party.
This must be the famous fan ship fiction or something dungeon. Can't wait to see it.
Fell behind. I wished Crunchyroll had alerts (their queue doesn't really work). Can't tell when a manga updates or not.
P3 Ch. 7 and P4 Ch. 6
Read up to these chapters.
I didn't notice it until reading the chapters last night. The Persona 4's art style is more serious looking than the Persona 3's art style. Persona 3 has more of a chibi, Coraline look to it. Persona 3 showed up to the rescue, and they didn't do any crazy gestures.
The November issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine announced on Friday that Sō Tobita will end his Persona Q - Shadow of the Labyrinth - Side: P3 manga in the magazine's next issue, which Kodansha will publish on November 9.
Thought the manga will run for a few more chapters. It didn't feel like it was approaching a conclusion yet.
Anyways, the one part I don't like about the chapter was the find the food Rei will like the most contest. The contestants were Zen and Kuma. Felt this part of the story was disconnected. This manga is going to end next month. Felt like a waste of time personally.
Since P3's side has chosen Rei as the destined partner for P3 Protagonist, I thought P4 Protagonist would be paired up with Zen due to the two being our newest characters introduce this series. Plus, P4 Protagonist isn't picky about gender compared to P3 Protagonist.
I was surprised that they paired up the protagonists together.
I like how the gals were more flustered especially Chie, Yukiko, and Rise in the P4 route than P3. I guess because P4 had a huge harem vibe for both guys and gals due to our P4 protagonist having a social link with everyone compared to P3 Protagonist only social linking with the gals (and the guys for the Portable handheld as there was a female protagonist option).
I forgot to comment on this but I did finish the manga a few days ago. I forgot to mark the date for my MyAnimeList account.
I have not play the game. This has been a surprisingly enjoyable manga with a dark secret under its cute exterior. I did wish they continue P3 side because the ending of the P4 side was pretty cruel and bittersweet because if you have played P3, you would know the dire fates of these individuals
For some reason, they didn't discuss any time anomalies
I had to look it up but yeah, in P3, the dream world of Persona Q occurs during a typhoon and the protagonist is in a deep sleep.
Not sure of P4 where Persona Q takes place - couldn't find the answer
Like Persona Arena, this crossover has heavy implications that this problem started from Persona 3 and related to Aigis as well. Strange, Persona 4's game mechanics takes more center stage
chrysoprase: Hello likely old stuff to you have watched"In Another World With My Smart Phone"English dubbed I do like it did everyone notice the very subtle bit each ending shows one beauty of the Harime drawing his and Her face on glass her left eye tears interesting.

Old Man Dream: Been wanting an anime remake for Tsukihime for a while, provided it gets Ufotable at the helm of animating it. Like Fate, but the horse for it's getting squeezed dry enough, especially with its many spinoffs.
