This doesn't really affect anything and im not about to start going around claiming universal yhwach. Nothing of the sort but i just thought it was worth noting that if the soul king dies an infinitely large dimension also gets destroyed.
Seeing as muken is eight levels below soul society centered under the first division barracks it suggests that soul society is not a planet inside a universe like i previously thought and that gremmy probably didn't BFR zaraki to anywhere in soul society. It was either dimensional BFR or he created the universe himself. going by his other showings the former is a lot more likely. Wherever it is it was pretty big. You can see galaxies and stars. My guess is its the living universe he was almost BFR'd to.
I've heard from a native japanese speaker than the viz translations aren't even that good comparatively to others but people seemed to take them pretty seriously when they said that 1000Ri was only 300 miles (despite the fact that viz themselves have translated 1Ri as 2.4 miles not once but twice before)
For instance in the 200 mile radius mayuri's bankai im gonna need someone japanese to actually translate it to make sure but what it probably is is viz being too lazy to use google. Another translation used 100 ken which is a japanese unit. that makes mayuri's bankai have a range of about 363 metres. so quite a bit off. They probably just cba to find out what a ken was and said it was 1 mile. Obviously its not certain which one is right because its just one translation against another, although recently i think mangastream said mayuri's bankai had a range similar to the smaller value when it was used against pernida.
The collapse of the universe ones are probably legit though seeing the only other translation i could find is the destruction of the world and world has been used many times to mean universe rather than just planet (i think a demonbane translation is one example) and above its outright stated soul society is infinite.

Also that makes Mayuri a hell of a lot more lethal than I thought. 100 mile radius? That's like Pre time skip Coco levels of lethal.
The issue is that Kubo has always been pretty shoddy about depicting scale, but he always puts it into words, like every character explaining their ability.
For instance, apparently Ichibei has control of Darkness throughout the entire universe? Maybe not too unbelievable since he erased 100 nights worth of darkness on a whim. But again as usual Kubo doesn't visually depict this. Since he prefers almost LN-like explanations, the scale at which Bleach operates is usually forgotten. Like Seireitei being calced to be almost a 1000 miles wide. Actually the movie stated that. Then Yoruichi says it would take like 12 days to go around the whole perimeter or something like that. All these things are easily overloooked because they are seldom visually depicted.
graet Artiste It would've been great to have a given size for seireitei. Unfortunately it does look like the official translation is wrong this time (important lesson that just because you have to pay for it its not necessarily better than free stuff)
тиваненк , i will always be a bleach fan, but people are too busy nowadays to argue about narratives which have many different interpretation. that's why they want feats, not statements. especially statements like those in bleach which are not only difficult to understand for casual readers but can easily be rejected as NLF
Im not surprised Naruto has so many w*nkers after the 4th war and the last movie, on panel feats really do work.
Taka: My favorite episode in Samurai Champloo was probably Ep 22.

Dream: The one with zombies excavating for treasure? Think that one's the most out there of episodes in the series. Mine's probably the one involving Mugen busting a counterfeit coin ring while trying to get nookie from a ninja girl disguised as a prostitute.

Master Menos: Updates complete. As for a life update, I'm quitting my fast food job soon. Was good for my very first job, but things are getting FAR too chaotic for my tastes.

Dream: Far as job front goes on my end, still waiting on projects to start up with my freelance job. Beyond that, nothing new for other work in my search.

Dream: Just completed Spice and Wolf. Plan to work on a review for it sometime tomorrow. Too late to have any inhibition to get one done from my end.

Dream: Last anime I will be covering is Gankutsuou: Count of Monte Cristo. Will start watching it tomorrow. Not sure how much longer I can keep myself up at this point.
Feb 7, 2020 5:19:21 GMT
Taka: Depending on my energy, I can watched up to 2 AM. Usually with work, I fall asleep on anime series that don't have a lot of action.

Master Menos: Finally got out of the fast food job. It was a graceful exit, but to be honest, I'll miss some of those guys. Got a sprained ankle from it since September, so I'll finally focus on healing that back at the family home.

HungryWorld: Well if anyone remembers what happened to Pingu in the City, with it being joke 10/10 scored on MAL just to get it into the top 10 anime... well now is Ishuzoku Reviewers' turn. Seems that in response to Funimation's cancel people boosted the score hard.

Taka: What? That sounds so weird.

Master Menos: It's damn awesome to be honest. It shot to 1st Place!

Dream: On the subject of MAL, it looks like the admin are planning to tweak their scoring system for titles to reduce the likelihood of voters artificially inflating the ranking of certain titles.

Master Menos: My V-Day present will be belated this year because I "Had some trouble with ol' Johnny." (That's your hint.)

Dream: The joys of adulthood. Joking aside, plan to at least attempt to wrap up Gankutsuou sometime early to mid next week so I can get done with my Funi voted titles. Afterward, not doing any more voting for a while considering how long this had been taking.

Dream: Done with Gankutsuou. Will be working to get a review up for it by sometime tonight.
