WOW, that was impressive. Now, unlike some people at OBD, I'm not going to focus on the city vaporization aspect. No, there's a far more impressive feature about this feat: the radiation aspect. You see, we get a precise temperature of the beam that ZX-Tale shot: 100 million degrees Centigrade (actually, he said it was even over that). Now, the amount of power that beam would have to have radiated is enormous.
So let's calc!
First, since the beam was shot from space, then we can negate any effects that convection or conduction would have on it, making my job that much easier. Second, since he said it was going to vape the city itself, then the surrounding temperature at all times must have been at least 3250 degrees Centigrade. Now, I can make the temperature with which the beam would have hit higher, but then it would just translate the energy into heat absorption by the material, so ultimately, the result wouldn't change at all.
And now, ugh, pixel scaling. You know what guys? I suck at pixel scaling, I couldn't do. If any one of you guys are willing to provide me with one, please be my guest. But right now, I'm just gonna eyeball it. Now, ZX-Tole is probably somewhere form two to two and a half meters tall, since Zoanoids are taller than humans. Now I measured with a ruler on screen the beam from about where I think his length is (I was guessing here, but it shouldn't be off by much) and compared it to the width of the beam at the end of the screen. What I got is:
Height: 2.25 m (average)
2.25 * (3.9 cm / 0.2 cm) = 17.55 m -> which is the approximate diameter of the beam. Divide it by two to get a radius of r = 8.775 m
OK then, so I need to make one more estimate: the amount of time the beam was produced. Since it looks like he took a little bit of time to disintegrate and Agito had enough time to shout "Close your eyes!" to the Segawa siblings before Sho fired a counter beam, I think a range of 3 to 5 seconds. Let's take 4 seconds as an estimate.
The Stefan-Boltzmann radiation equation:
E = (sigma)(epsilon)(Ts^4 - Tsur^4)At
E = energy radiated sigma = Stefan-Boltzmann constant = 5.67e-8 W/m^2/K^4 epsilon = emissivity = 1.0 (since it's not matter, it's a pure beam of energy) Ts = system temperature = 100000273 K Tsurr = surrounding temperature = 3523 K A = pi(r^2) = 241.905 m^2 t = time = 4 s
E = 5.67e-8(1.0)(100000273^4 - 3523^4)(241.905)(4) =5.4865e27 J = 1.311 EXATONS OF TNT
And that didn't even hit the Earth! Neither did it vape anything because it counter beamed! And Gigantic Guyver's Mega Smasher completely overwhelmed it and didn't even stop nor falter and kept on going! I think we can safely assume that:
ZX-Tole's Ultimate Blaster Tempest: Small moon level Gigantic Guyver's Mega Smasher: Moon level
I know most of you don't care about Guyver, but this is very impressive considering that the series is thought to be "weak" and "island levelers" except for top tiers. Sorry Eva01 , but I'll have to push aside those impressive D.Grayman calcs, we have a new challenger for stat boosts from calcs.
тиваненк WOAH! Wasn't ZX-Tale just a mid-tier? Wow. Not only does this solidify the top tiers' level, but this upgrades the verse in general to high-level.
Couple that with relavistic+ - FTL speed for the many laser reaction feats and decent hax and you've got a really impressive verse.
Yeah, he reached the power of a Lost Number who should be below Zoalords. Granted, this was his final self-sacrificing technique, but Zoalords should at least be on his level, and probably higher (I haven't read past this, but I assume that Gigantic Guyver doesn't just stomp the Zoalords).
Eva01, Yeah. I just looked up Guyver stats on VSB and was appalled. OK, I understand the island level stats because they didn't know better, but MHS+ speed, really? I'm pretty sure the Megasmasher was described as a particle beam or something like that in base Guyver form (I'm not sure) so it should be in the relativistic+ region. Plus Archanfel escaped a black hole event horizon. Relativistic+ - FTL characters with Moon - Planet+ high to top tiers in Guyver. Really underestimated verse.
Dream: Last anime I will be covering is Gankutsuou: Count of Monte Cristo. Will start watching it tomorrow. Not sure how much longer I can keep myself up at this point.

Taka: Depending on my energy, I can watched up to 2 AM. Usually with work, I fall asleep on anime series that don't have a lot of action.

Master Menos: Finally got out of the fast food job. It was a graceful exit, but to be honest, I'll miss some of those guys. Got a sprained ankle from it since September, so I'll finally focus on healing that back at the family home.

HungryWorld: Well if anyone remembers what happened to Pingu in the City, with it being joke 10/10 scored on MAL just to get it into the top 10 anime... well now is Ishuzoku Reviewers' turn. Seems that in response to Funimation's cancel people boosted the score hard.
Feb 11, 2020 2:11:38 GMT
Taka: What? That sounds so weird.
Feb 11, 2020 5:36:23 GMT
Master Menos: It's damn awesome to be honest. It shot to 1st Place!

Dream: On the subject of MAL, it looks like the admin are planning to tweak their scoring system for titles to reduce the likelihood of voters artificially inflating the ranking of certain titles.

Master Menos: My V-Day present will be belated this year because I "Had some trouble with ol' Johnny." (That's your hint.)
Feb 15, 2020 4:17:13 GMT
Dream: The joys of adulthood. Joking aside, plan to at least attempt to wrap up Gankutsuou sometime early to mid next week so I can get done with my Funi voted titles. Afterward, not doing any more voting for a while considering how long this had been taking.
Feb 15, 2020 16:50:30 GMT
Dream: Done with Gankutsuou. Will be working to get a review up for it by sometime tonight.
Feb 16, 2020 20:57:26 GMT
Taka: Great job, Dream! I should do some reviews, too.
Feb 17, 2020 5:24:39 GMT
Dream: Looks like MAL's currently down due to the site getting hit by a major denial-of-service attack, just as a heads up.
Feb 18, 2020 17:55:23 GMT
Taka: I added 2 polls tonight. Also, I wonder why MAL was down. Crunchyroll also had it, too.
Feb 20, 2020 4:05:24 GMT
Dream: Not sure about Crunchyroll. For MAL, the DoS attacks may have been retaliation by those who dabbled into manipulating the site's scoring system for certain anime titles. The admin on MAL announced they would be overhauling the system to prevent said...
