Welcome to The Card Game Club!
Here you can chat about any card games, including games like Cardfight Vanguard, Yu-Gi-Oh, and even the last time that you got screwed at Uno! We also talk about the latest or most interesting set spoilers and releases, give recommendations, share your collections or your wiki work and much more, so lets all have fun!
So, I just went through the nastiest games of Uno and I can't believe that I won some of them. Before I left for class, these house rules happened:
> Stacking/Turbo rules (Ordered numbers regardless of color, multiple Draw 2's and Draw 4's, multiple skips and reverses were all legal).
> Draw 2's were treated as Draw 6's.
> Draw _ cards were able to be negated by the targeted people by using other Draw _'s, Skip or Reverse of any color. - If a Draw 4 got into the stack, the person has to use a Draw _, Skip or Reverse of the called color or they get to draw the added amount of cards. One poor unfortunate soul had to draw over 30 cards one game.
> Custom Wild Cards were about. The varying effects were Draw 10 (which didn't stack), swap hands with a chosen player and one where everyone had to swap hands counter-clockwise.
> The most recent one before I left for class: The person who was in last place after everyone loses their hands is out for the next game. I got first place that game.
I had to take deep breaths after all of that shit happened.
Speaking of card games a pretty cool thing happened to me at work today. A co-worker of mine gave me some Naruto Shippuden cards. They were originally his girlfriend's, but since she walked out on him and he can't stand her he let me have them. He knew I was a big anime/manga fan so I would appreciate them, which I do :-) I have never played the game myself, and I'm not sure if I'll start playing. I may take a picture of the cards I got and post them here.
I also do, but the only decks that I own are Madolches and Ghostricks. Many people I know that play the game tend to have way more than that.
This image is of the Madolches. They were how I ended up playing Yu-Gi-Oh.
You're lucky. Madolche's are somewhat still competitive as long as you add in Brilliant Fusion (screw this card). They're expensive too, even to this day... The only deck I play is Harpie (so bad) and D/D (somewhat good, still need more support).
Adjudication : Speaking of Brilliant Fusion, I always had trouble with Gem Knights not just because of that card. If my setup's not right, it was my ass.
@sonata : You visited Dueling Network too? I have, but haven't visited in a real good while. I should visit there again soon. Meanwhile, on the Cardfight Vanguard side, there are four specific cards from my main clan that are my faves of that set. Visits to my card shop are going to be quite interesting. The main one being PR♥ISM-Image, Sunshine Vert due to my main deck. The others are Frontier Star, Coral, Brilliant Ocean, Elly and PR♥ISM-Image, Sunshine Clear. I'm only showing pics of two versions of the top two. I'm not that insane.
Adjudication: Damn, that's sad to hear. Ah, well. Won't be surprised if another site like it shows up, but let's not give out any (illegal) names.
As for the Force of Will part, I haven't played that and have no clue if my card shop did either. This isn't the quickest time that I've seen a card game die out (that honor ended up being given to Hearthstone, being a mobile game aside).
You guys play Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Generations on your mobile devices? If not you should give it a try it's free:) I've been playing the campaign mode for the last few days to try and build a descent deck. It has multiplayer as well but I haven't tried it yet.
GalanTheTruth, You start of with a random deck that is pretty crappy then you try to win duels to vet best cards. My deck is still all over the place. Though I do have a darkness neosphere which is pretty bad ass
Master Menos: Finally got out of the fast food job. It was a graceful exit, but to be honest, I'll miss some of those guys. Got a sprained ankle from it since September, so I'll finally focus on healing that back at the family home.

HungryWorld: Well if anyone remembers what happened to Pingu in the City, with it being joke 10/10 scored on MAL just to get it into the top 10 anime... well now is Ishuzoku Reviewers' turn. Seems that in response to Funimation's cancel people boosted the score hard.

Taka: What? That sounds so weird.

Master Menos: It's damn awesome to be honest. It shot to 1st Place!

Dream: On the subject of MAL, it looks like the admin are planning to tweak their scoring system for titles to reduce the likelihood of voters artificially inflating the ranking of certain titles.

Master Menos: My V-Day present will be belated this year because I "Had some trouble with ol' Johnny." (That's your hint.)

Dream: The joys of adulthood. Joking aside, plan to at least attempt to wrap up Gankutsuou sometime early to mid next week so I can get done with my Funi voted titles. Afterward, not doing any more voting for a while considering how long this had been taking.
Feb 15, 2020 16:50:30 GMT
Dream: Done with Gankutsuou. Will be working to get a review up for it by sometime tonight.
Feb 16, 2020 20:57:26 GMT
Taka: Great job, Dream! I should do some reviews, too.
Feb 17, 2020 5:24:39 GMT
Dream: Looks like MAL's currently down due to the site getting hit by a major denial-of-service attack, just as a heads up.
Feb 18, 2020 17:55:23 GMT
Taka: I added 2 polls tonight. Also, I wonder why MAL was down. Crunchyroll also had it, too.
Feb 20, 2020 4:05:24 GMT
Dream: Not sure about Crunchyroll. For MAL, the DoS attacks may have been retaliation by those who dabbled into manipulating the site's scoring system for certain anime titles. The admin on MAL announced they would be overhauling the system to prevent said...
Feb 20, 2020 13:42:15 GMT
Dream: ...manipulation last week.
