Plot: Arata Kaizaki (27) quit the job he landed after graduation in only three months. His life did not go well after that. Now his parents are threatening to stop sending money, and want him to come back to the country. He has no friend or girlfriend to share his troubles with...as he hits rock bottom a strange man named Ryo Yoake appears. Yoake invites Kaizaki to join a societal rehabilitation program for NEETs called ReLife. This program uses a mysterious drug to make him look younger, and sends him back to high school for a year...
Ep 1: I'm actually hooked on this series. Really interesting concept that is very relatable since I met a lot of folks who regret things and want to reset their lives. I love Ryo made the main protagonist's first day of school messed up. Also, main protagonist shouldn't being hitting on girls since he is technically an adult in boy's body. That is weird to say right now.
so Arata makes friends with the female class rep and even gives her advice, but the big reveal is everyone will forget about 17 year old Arata when the ReLife experiment is over. Does this include advice he has given?
sucks that Arata only looks younger but still has the body of av27 year old, poor guy hurt himself for being out of shape. Hishiro really needs to work on that smile, it's sending the wrong message to Kariu which will only lead to more misunderstandings.
an episode dedicated to Kariu and her self doubt and jealously towards Hishiro. Kairu is really mad at Hishiro for stealing everything away from her, including Oga. Things took a really nasty turn when Kairu tried to steal Hishiro's bag and Arata tried to stop her. Really hoping Hishiro can clear up the misunderstandings with Kariu
finally got a glimpse at Arata's past and maybe the reason he quit his job. He uses his past experience to lecture Kariu on why what she did was wrong. He was also honest with Hishiro on why Kariu stole her bag but the greatest part was when Hishiro finally talked to Kariu so they can finally become friends. Also Hishiro trying to smile is the best. Forgot to mention Oga is dense for not noticing Kariu's feelings.
so An works for ReLife and was supposed to be Arata's supporter but didn't finish her traning in time. Seemed kinda odd she was trying to get close to Arata which was breaking the rules and making Yoake mad. Bonus points for the forever 17 gag and turns out she fell in love with Arata at first sight.
Yoake backstory and his failure with the first test subject but who is the first test subject? has to be someone at the same school. Also got the reason why Arata was chosen to be the 2nd test subject.
this episode was more focused on Honoka then Kariu. Kariu gets a lot of disrespect from her juniors because she's so good at volleyball but not so much for her studies. Kariu defended her at first but Kariru snapped at Honoka at the end now their status as friends is questionable. Wonder what made Kairu snap at Honoka.
yep there's a fallout between Honoka and Kariu, don't wont even eat together or speak to each other. Arata and Hishiro even took action to learn what's going on, even Honoka's friends drag Kariu to over hear Honoka's conversation and what she's feeling.
got the full story on Arata's past job and what happened to his senpai. Arata ended up making the situation between his senpai and coworkers lost and his senpai ended up commiting suicide. Heartless boss and coworkers only made Arata mad when they treated the suicide like it was nothing causing Arata to quit his job, but hey he ended up inspiring some of the new hires. Arata is growing more by each episode
yay Oga and Kariu confessed their feelings to each other! thats one ship set sail. Turns out Hishiro was the first test subject and Arata was strugling with if he should tell her how he feels about her
great series, hope for a 2nd season. Time to read the manga
Reina and Chizuru patch things up after Kaizaki makes Reina stop running away as Reina reveals her jealousy for Chizuru and getting close to Oga. Chizuru confronts Reina and solves the problem. She even smiles right at her.
Kaizaki is going to visit his senpai (Saiki Michiru, the one who committed suicide) on the anniversary of her death. Seeing the full story of Saiki Michiru's suicde due to the stress of harassment and someone sabotaging her work. Kaizaki tried to help out.
Yoake is a sly man who arranged the meeting of the new hires with Kaizaki via An's help.
Oga sees Kaizaki's advice about love after Kaizaiki tries to get Oga to realize his feelings and Kairu's feelings. Both Tama, Kaizaki, Yoake, Chizuru help out to get the two alone during the festival.
Somehow, Yoake set up Chizuru and Kaizaki to be alone together since it will Kaizaki's last time. Yoake is pretty sly.
Damn, I didn't think Chizuru is the ReLiFE subject 1. Too bad, the two can't get romantic especially Kaizaki who doesn't know. Only Yoake and An know. Kaizaki assumes he will disappear but he will not forget Chizuru and his friends.

Dream: Looks like California and New York are now enforcing all non-essential workers to stay home, except for necessary needs and all public gatherings are banned, at least in New York. New York's are in effect Sunday.

Mar 24, 2020 2:31:40 GMT
Dream: At least in New York right now, they're not enforcing it. But non-essential employers who aren't abiding by shutting down at this point will be fined and shut down at this point.
