Last weekend, I just did Pchumben, cleaning grave stones for family who died in the USA and shrine for those died in the war back in the mother country.
I just receive word today that my uncle has passed away, making it my 3rd relative to pass away this year. He died from cancer. We had his cousins at our house due to coronavirus and restrictions, can't visit him.
I can't imagine how lonely my uncle felt. We sent him text messages, my father had to do it in Khmer.
I'm observing how my younger cousins feel. Only one cried. Grief hits everyone differently.
