The Strike Witches 501st Unit, Taking Off! manga is getting an anime adaptation 2019.
The staff of the Strike Witches anime announced on Sunday at the franchise's 10th anniversary event that Makoto Fujibayashi's Strike Witches 501 Butai Hasshinshimasu! (Strike Witches 501st Unit, Taking Off!) manga will get an anime adaptation.
The anime will be broadcast and will stream online in 2019 with the title World Witches Series 501 Butai Hasshinshimasu!. Humikane Shimada and Projekt Kagonish are credited with the original work.
A new original anime called Hoshiai no Sora (Sky Where Stars Meet) will be launched somewhere in 2019. The anime is being directed at studio Brain's Base. The story will be about the drama of children going through puberty.
Surprisingly we already have an announcement for an anime in 2020.

The new anime will get a screening event at TOHO CINEMAS Shinjuku on October 6. The screening will show the first episode of the original anime, as well as the new anime, and will also have a talk show. The OVA will then ship with the fourth part of the anime's 25th Anniversary Blu-ray Box collection on October 26 in Japan.
The anime will adapt the "Two Shot" bonus chapter from the manga's seventh volume, as well as the manga's penultimate chapter "All or Nothing." The "Two Shot" chapter tells the story of how Kurama and Hiei met, while "All or Nothing" shows the main characters reuniting to solve a hostage crisis in the spirit world. The anime will feature a returning staff, including director and storyboarder Noriyuki Abe at the studio Pierrot.
