Yuhao's opponent made expert use of her shield, catching two out of the three energy balls with it. She was pressed hard into the wall behind her by the force, but she was otherwise unharmed. Her spear flicked out and set off the last, blowing the spear in half but keeping her alive. Without a second of hesitation, she flipped the spear in her grip and threw it at Yuhao. She drew a sword from her belt and rushed him as fast as her short legs could take her, stabbing around the shield's protection. She knew her chances had grown far worse without her range, but if she got his legs, she could take him down.
Alice's opponent watched as her fingers closed around his rapier's tip. He yanked it away at once, but at once wasn't fast enough. The rapier's red-hot tip drooped so it was shaped more like a crowbar. He looked at the firey knight coming at him. Many Fomorians would accept their fate and go down fighting. He turned and charged the other direction. He jumped over the grappling fighters on the floor and ran down the stairs into the darkness.
"Coward! Fight like a Fomorian!" Alan's opponent yelled at him as he passed. She breathed heavily as she glared down at Alan. "I am Beliem, leader of the Mushside Marauders." She stood with her feet apart, one arm crossed over her chest and the other crossing it perpendicular to point into the air. "I will find your identity in your ID when I kill you, assuming your culture up top is sophisticated enough to produce such a thing." She lowered her body and lunged, both hands out like twin spear points for his torso.
Leslie flashed out her guantlet's claws again across her foe's face. "...I, too would like to know the name of my opponent." He had a fist drawn back, but didn't let lose. "Leslie Bone, if you must know. I doubt it means much to you." "Certainly it does! How can you properly fight somebody you don't know? I am Ardragas Morhigan." He finished his punch, knocking her helmet clean off. His disarming fists did a number on keeping that on it turned out. Thankfully, her breastplate was far too well secured to come off or she'd have a real problem. She couldn't hide her smile now, but hey, he couldn't see it anyway. "Well, pleased to meet you. And I'm even more pleased to show you why you don't mess with a knight!"
