It's likely 12 episodes or 13 if they want to maintain the animation quality. Hopefully, their production goes smoothly because a handful of Spring shows got delayed to summer season.
You're talking about a stiff competition of shows to cater to new fans. An anime adaptation will help increase exposure for God of High School. Manhwa are already niche. Crunchyroll using its brand helps boost awareness for these webtoons.
Taka Well it will be rather difficult. The first arc is 41 chapters but God of High School has some rather long chapters (although this might seem like that due to the format). If it follows the usual manga format of about 3 chapters to 1 episode it'd be having about 12-13 episodes yes. They can't go far into the next arc without getting too many episodes since the next arc is about double the length of the first one. I have some faith in the animation quality since the trailer made it seem smooth and the studio making it is MAPPA (which has some series with some rather good animation on their name). If they're given enough budget i think they'll be going through just fine.
As for manhwa yes they're still a bit niche but they've been gaining a lot of popularity, especially in their webtoon format. Last time i checked digital manhwa in webtoon format were actually more popular than digital manga. This is probably because of the ease of access.
Taka Well i know how they make money on Naver Webtoons. Ads and fast-passes for getting the next chapter earlier than the rest (which is for a small amount you buy early access to the next chapter). Seems like these methods give enough revenue to give them a good income.
ch. 2 covers Daewi's "sad backstory" . I can see why the anime did it differently since the webtoon's flow meanders a lot and lingers on characters as it goes more than just intro.
Essentially, Ch 1 - Jin Mori Ch 2 - Daewi Ch 3 Yoo Mira
The anime did a better job of making Yoo Mira a likeable character. Ch 3 portrays her as shallow and making her look for men like boyfriends and abandoning them if they are weak.
Ch 4 is episode 1 in the anime. My memory is bad.
This establishes Jin Mori's personality as he tends to have negative, over the board delusions.
The webtoon emulates "chibi".
Oh that is very interesting. The webtoon does panty shot as part of its fan service. The anime does feature breasts and gainax bounce and tight clothing that accentuates breasts and buttocks. The anime never did panty shots if my memory serves me.
The webtoon doesn't do a lot of scenery. Mostly character shots.
The webtoon also draws Yoo MIra as muscular. I do wonder if the artist shares the same struggle as Naruto's mangaka Kishimoto in drawing girls cute.
Webtoon is definitely a slower pace.
There is no audience for the preliminary battle royale. It makes it more of an underground brawl than a tournament.
A lot of characters named.
sub plot with the president is longer
With manga, it has less censorship especially in fan service. I would have to say the WEbtoon has more fan service very ecchi tropes which the anime cuts out
I can see why they removed this scene. Anything with North Korea is very sensitive topic. The south Koreans and north Koreans have a long history.
Because of the vertical format, it's actually easier to find the flow between panels compared to a manga. That's ironic.
Taka: It's a gigantic mech franchise. I haven't seen Macross myself. I know it's a big one.

Taka: I see. A global release will benefit it. Gundam did pretty good. The only few franchises that are only popular in Japan but not popular in the west - Yokai Watch comes to mind.

Master Menos: F for Respects. DMX did all his work while suffering from a drug addiction, and I almost never knew until a point. I hope his next life treats him far better.
