This is going to be weird. We have a new subsection for comic books. You guys and gals can create topic and discussion type threads for anything comic book related. This club thread is going to be useless now since it was broad and just cover all comic books in the off-topic section.
I think I can still use this thread only for comic book news since I don't want to take future threads' content away.
For those who love figures, Kotobukiya reveals their figure, Wonder Girl
Wonder Girl stands just over 8 ½ inches tall (1/7 scale) on her specially designed display base. Cassie is a great centerpiece for your DC Comics Bishoujo collection and looks great alongside other statues like Wonder Woman, Starfire, and Raven!

“There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.”

Bernie Wrightson has passed away on March 18, 2017
bio from Wikipedia:
Bernard Albert "Bernie" Wrightson (October 27, 1948 – March 18, 2017), sometimes credited as Berni Wrightson, was an American artist, known for co-creating the Swamp Thing, his Frankenstein illustration work, and for his other horror comics and illustrations, which feature his trademark intricate pen and brush work.
Here are some sketches of a potential Metroid Prime comic series but never went to into the final stage
Artist Steven Butler recently shared his commissioned artwork for an American Metroid comic once considered by Archie Comics. The project was floated about six years ago, but ultimately Archie went with a Mega Man adaptation instead.
Butler's detailed sketches show both Zero Suit Samus and various takes of her in her Power Suit. He even included highly-detailed version of the boss Ridley.
Nintendo's Metroid video game series inspired a two-part manga in 1986 and later a two volume manga in 2004 that Tokyopop released in English. Nintendo's Captain N Comics, based on the Saturday morning cartoon of the same name, featured Samus and the antagonist Mother Brain. Samus has also appeared in Benimaru Itoh's Super Metroid Comics and Dreamwave's Metroid Prime Comics, both published in Nintendo Power, and in the Samus and Joey manga.
For those who love the original, here's a new story or sequel.

Word from the staff:
“This is not a sequel to the original story,” warns series writer Cullen Bunn. “This is an all new murderous rampage. The Marvel Universe has changed a great deal since the first series. So, of course, Deadpool had to up his game and change his tactics.”
“Deadpool is pulling out all the stops on this killing spree,” continues Bunn. “In the second issue of the original series, he killed Spider-Man. In the second issue of this series, he goes after the entire Spider-Man family. And that’s not all. Good ol’ Wade is approaching these kills in all new ways, and he’s going after huge targets. How does Deadpool kill an entire pantheon of mythic beings? You’ll find out in the first issue. And that’s just the beginning of the carnage.”
