They reused a lot of scenes for our flashback. While the episode was okay, it didn't do much to resolve Hachibana and Iris's relationship. It was just drama and that Hachibana quit being a nun after losing faith in god after the nuns were burned up in a case of human combustion. The two aren't much scarred from the incident? Their looks and such didn't seem convincing
While it was emotional and nicely animated, it felt a bit anticlimatic how Shinra took down Lieutenant star eyes. Plus without spoilers, Rekka or the star eyes guy reminded me of a similar character in Soul Eater, the previous manga series by the same author in how they became evil and it felt really abrupt and out of character
If you love Tamaki(as pointed above post with the images), she was the character spotlight despite the insect perpetrator case taking most of the action
I can't imagine we're done here. It felt too simple
I thought the case ended. Ep 9 continues the case. I was mistaken. The fan service seems distracting but it doesn't break the show since I seen Soul Eater. Tamaki is becoming the 2nd love interest to Shinra. The reason I said this because Youtube keeps recommending Anime Youtube reviewers. I just haven't found any anime Youtubers worth listening in salt since some of them are just click bait or felt superficial. I notice the episode didn't chime with non ecchi fans. It's understandable. Reminds me of Food Wars when the anime first came out.
I would not put Fire Force on a list of anime series I haven't wrote that shouldn't have fan service and works better without it. Fire Force needs its fan service. Like Fairy Tail and Food Wars too.
Rekka is pretty short lived. Just an plot stone for the characters. At least, we get some build up for another group that is tied to Shinra's family massacre.
Also something weird happened. Why did Arthur leave? I thought this unit was tight knit. They haven't done anything since Arthur left or felt worry. Considering we had Rekka killed off.
Fire Force - I hope it gets a long run. Hopefully that motivates the producers to rekindle the idea of Soul Eater getting another season or remake. Though, I prefer the anime over the manga since Shinigami gets more screentime.
No it is best for Fire Force to have 12 or 24 episodes. Because the longer the series, the more animation deteriorates. Fire Force - animation quality helps it gain viewership unlike Naruto, Black Clover, and One Piece.

Taka: How strange, when I log in, the colors via Fire Fox disappear. If I log out, I can see the color for hyperlink words. Anyways, been noticing God of High School has been the talk for WWE folks.

Old Man Dream: Updating on the current series I'm watching from my latest poll: First season of Emma's complete. Not sure of an exact timeline when I'll complete the second one, but aiming to at least be done by next weekend if things don't get too hectic.

Taka: Upon looking at their list, I watched a lot of their shows. Just relaxing today. Not working like yesterday especially with the strange heat wave.
