Plot: Masked wrestler Genzō Shibata likes all kinds of animals and creatures. One day he is summoned to another world, where a princess asks him to help kill magical beasts, but he gets mad and puts her in a German suplex. Instead, he begins life as a pet shop owner in the other world.
I like it. The two isekai shows on FUNimation - that hook me in pretty good.
This wrestler was summoned by the princess to defeat the demon lord and demonic beasts. He suplexes her and runs out. Because of his wrestling attire, everyone thinks he's a pervert. The way he acts towards the cat girl and wolf boy in wanting to pet them cements that misunderstanding even further.]
I had fun. The animation was weird. I couldn't tell they used CG in some frames. I know they use CG for sure when he first sees the furries/anthromorphics in his pretty vision, the dog with wings is CG while he is CG, performing exercises.
It doesn't feel like an isekai. Just a fantasy show about a pet/furry lover.
WE picked up the dragon lady who is called Dragon Half? Not sure about the jargon in this show. Our wrestler is still human with his strength if he overpowers the vampire and suplex her, exposing her undergarments. I guess besides the Dragon girl, everyone else seems normal.
Didn't really need a recap that reuses the exact scenes from episode 1 to build on Mao since that's just padding for time.
Of course, our wrestler protagonist is only interested in animals so plants like the mandrakes we saw aren't his thing. Amusingly, his ant employee can protect the shop while he's away. This is the first time, the wrestler hurts a furry.
I realized we don't have the backstory of the wrestler or the wolf girl. In this episode, we explore the backstory of Fafnir and Camilla through another vampire girl who has the same rivalry as Mao, the wrestler whom she summoned. Both of them have lost to the other person.
Fafnir didn't get character development but she has more of her side revealed beyond being a glutton. She cares for Camilla.
