Taka Greninja was getting quite OP due to the protean ability like Menos said, because it changes Greninja's type to the move it uses which in combination with Greninja's quite good stats and wide as hell movepool (especially since the reintroduction of move tutors in G6 with OR/AS) made him extremely unpredictable and it gave all his moves a same type 50% bonus damage. Greninja got placed in the same tier as mega Kanghaskahn who became broken due to attacking twice with each move, speed boost Blaziken and some other megas and legendaries.
Having that said in the G6 games since i always bred for as strong as possible pokemons i should have a few hidden ability starters and other pokemons lying around as well as some excellently bred pokemons (almost have a few around with 4 IVs and the optimal ability and nature) which i always make a few extra by accident. If any of you want
Wasn't much of a breeder guy. Did EV training for a bit. I was more of a collector guy. It take me a quite a bit to get used to the new Pokemon. Some of them like that slug Pokemon are misleading for types. I thought it was a poison type. Turns out it was a dragon type.
What happened to Pokemon these days?
I forgot to register one of my siblings' game. Turns out they were done with Alpha Sapphire a long time when I bought it as a gift for them. I used to spend hours on Platinum. I guess the new games have less retention and replay value with my siblings. They don't go back to Black and White and others.
Taka I also did collecting but after you catch every single catchable in the game nothing but breeding remains, although breeding in itself was a means and not an end since i did it to get very strong pokemons for the battle frontiers and battle maisons. We managed to clear every super challenge in those on omega ruby. But to that end i also ended up collecting and breeding good pokemons from the other games, like hidden ability bulbasaur and my favorite which i still have to do Drifblim (but decent drifloon are hard to get) and even pokemons like Gengar.
As for the pokemon designs of the last generations, don't begin about it. They don't seem to have a lot of new ideas anymore, given that especially generation 5 was horrible with icecream, garbage, chandelier and just plain duck and a swan pokemon (of which the duck has the most uninspired name ever). It seems they're shifting to making pokemon based on objects now.
I still have to register mine as well, little brother doesn't really bother too much anyways and is mainly breeding and doing GTS (and trading away a lot of the breeding junk via wonder trade). Wondering if i should register Y or OR, since we did most on OR but my little brother is still using that one.

HungryWorld: I'm interested in your offer since I have more perfect Bunearies than I ever need in my life right now. I also agree that Gen 5 wasn't that strong on the design department, but they ended up with a lot of useful pokemon. This gen had a lot of useful pokemon too, but the dex was the smallest out of the other Gens most likely because Gamefreak wanted to change the metagame for the better with mega evolutions (which ended up working).
Taka: I also have collected for the pokedex, but I mainly battle or breed pokemon.
Current Situation: Happy Halloween! (Artist Credit: サクラサク)
Master Monster Menos Well we have a perfect Lopunny as well, little brother made that one for the Mega Lopunny. Normally just interested in a pokemon we don't have yet or one we don't have a good parent or so of yet. I really just bred for pokemons i liked and were also good in competitive use. And for the Megas, heck i think we have about every mega there is possible safe for Garchomp (getting Garchompite is a pain in the ass). So i'm not really in the need of Bunearies but we can work something out XD. Think there was a few AS exclusive pokemons that we don't have on the dex yet i think (we have over 500 on the dex seen and at least a couple of hundred caught). Also always am looking for some good leftover parents from pokemon i'd like to breed but haven't bred yet. As for battling, i think we could try that once as well. I think you can expect a Hoopa or some other really strong pokemon though XD
And i agree on the metagame changing a lot since G5. Pokemon like Aegislash and some other quite unbalanced ones came out. Also the introduction of Shell Smash made me love Cloyster. Cloyster is love, Cloyster is life.

Taka: Acnologia: HungryWorld: This month's fan game is Pokemon Reborn. I added the description to the OP. It's actually really good. Unlike Insurgence, you will NOT choose to have a lighter story there as the arrival to Reborn City sets the tone for you at the start.
Master Monster Menos I never really did pokemon fangames :S. The only thing close to it i did is CAP on Showdown. I cannot stand using imaginary pokemon too much since i will automatically memorize them and keep them in mind when planning and doing mind games.
Master Monster Menos I did say it once before in this thread. Yeah i have a username on there. It's ChainsawPinsir (just imagine the badassery of Pinsir with chainsaws instead of those what do you call them horns).

I ended up playing with a lot of them (ROM Hack and RPG Maker types) because of trying Reborn out right before Gen 6 got announced. I do like the official games a lot more, but some of them are fun just like the official ones.
EDIT: Taka: I almost forgot! On that game, I apparently found someone with the same name as you in Team Meteor. It was too good not to share. XD
That's cool! I think I did played a fan game but it wasn't like the ones (romcoms?) you guys mentioned. It's called Pokemon Crater. It was a website game that was opened for a period of time and closed down since the creator had commitment that took a lot of his free time.
Entertainment news source Variety reported on Thursday that software development company Niantic (Ingress) has raised US$20 million from The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, and Google to develop its Pokémon GO augmented reality smartphone app. Variety added that the three investors will give Niantic another US$10 million upon meeting unspecified performance goals.
Pokémon GO will be available in 2016 for Android phones and iPhones. 2016 marks the 20th anniversary of the original Pokémon games.
For Halloween promo, Pokkén Tournament, is doing a special stage and assist pokemon for the holiday:
The game is also celebrating Halloween through November 3rd with a haunted mansion stage, witch and magician outfits, and support Pokémon Mismagius with Ominous Wind, giving your pokemon increased attack power and Ninetales with a Will-O-Wisp flame effect.
Old Man Dream: Fun fact about The Rescuers: It has a dirty little secret you can find in older releases of the movie. (NSFW, as a heads up)

Taka: Didn't see anything until I read the description and comments. It goes by really fast. Edit: Someone really sneak in a picture. Edit 2: Tried pausing to find it. It's harder to track compared to REZERO's IF pictures

Old Man Dream: Set the playback speed on the video to 0.25x. Should make it easier to get a good pause on one of the two naughty bits. Both appear around 0:19ish in the video.

Old Man Dream: Just got done with The Rescuers. See if I can get a review for this up tonight or if not, sometime tomorrow.
