Pulse by Ratana Satis Is my personal favorite yuri story. Is a web comic and honestly I end up tearing a bit. Is just excellent and heartwarming. The basic story is a lesbian heart surgeon start taking care of a patient who want to make her fall in love with her despite the heart surgeon no longer believing in love. Again I personally found it amazing.
Also Love Tear and Sand light novel is alright. Is nothing special, is not worth going out to buy unless you just want more stuff in your library that have some sex scene that are alright. I mean it does feel like a fan fic writer who happen to be decent and not garbage wrote this.
There hasn't been too much news besides new yuri anime trailers.
We got one today. It's about the Yuriten 2018 Fair being canceled for the time being
The official website for Yuri Fair (Yuriten) 2018 announced on Monday that the planned yuri-themed exhibition at Tokyo's Ikebukuro Marui department store has been cancelled. This year's event in Tokyo would have run from March 17 to March 25. The fair organizers explained that it would have been difficult for all participating creators to display and sell their works, so they decided to cancel the event at Ikebukuro Marui.
The organizers apologized for the short notice and reported that they are looking into various options for alternate venues and times. As soon as a possible new venue and schedule is confirmed, the organizers will make the announcement.
The fair's website still lists the event as going to Osaka's Namba Parks complex from March 31 to April 8. The site also still lists plans to go to Fukuoka in mid-April, although it states that the details of this stop are still forthcoming.
Last year's event in the same Tokyo venue had offered the first indications for an anime adaptation of Hiromi Takashima's Kase-san and... yuri manga series — before the Kase-san and Morning Glories net animation clip was officially announced, and before the full Kase-san and Morning Glories original video anime was announced.
Update: One of the would-be participating creators, the photographer Yuria whose motif is female thighs, would have held "The World of Thigh Photos Exhibit 2018 at Ikebukuro Marui" from March 9 to March 26. However, the organizers announced on March 2 that this exhibit at Ikebukuro Marui was cancelled "due to various circumstances" as well. Thanks, #Verso.Sciolto. Well, 2 of their original anime series are yuri. Not sure about Celestial Method. I dropped it. Even if it was listed as fantasy and no yuri genre, sometimes, shows do yuri baiting like Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid
The other ones like Dimension W was an anime adaptation of a manga.
I didn't know they animated SAO GGO.
Black Fox does look like it, the new anime. Shows 2 girls
Just recently saw the kase-san 60 minute ova, and really enjoy it. While I felt like the story could have been stronger if it was a full length movie and change something from the manga, it could have been amazing, but still awesome.

Dream: Last anime I will be covering is Gankutsuou: Count of Monte Cristo. Will start watching it tomorrow. Not sure how much longer I can keep myself up at this point.

Taka: Depending on my energy, I can watched up to 2 AM. Usually with work, I fall asleep on anime series that don't have a lot of action.

Master Menos: Finally got out of the fast food job. It was a graceful exit, but to be honest, I'll miss some of those guys. Got a sprained ankle from it since September, so I'll finally focus on healing that back at the family home.

HungryWorld: Well if anyone remembers what happened to Pingu in the City, with it being joke 10/10 scored on MAL just to get it into the top 10 anime... well now is Ishuzoku Reviewers' turn. Seems that in response to Funimation's cancel people boosted the score hard.

Taka: What? That sounds so weird.

Master Menos: It's damn awesome to be honest. It shot to 1st Place!

Dream: On the subject of MAL, it looks like the admin are planning to tweak their scoring system for titles to reduce the likelihood of voters artificially inflating the ranking of certain titles.

Master Menos: My V-Day present will be belated this year because I "Had some trouble with ol' Johnny." (That's your hint.)

Dream: The joys of adulthood. Joking aside, plan to at least attempt to wrap up Gankutsuou sometime early to mid next week so I can get done with my Funi voted titles. Afterward, not doing any more voting for a while considering how long this had been taking.

Dream: Done with Gankutsuou. Will be working to get a review up for it by sometime tonight.
Feb 16, 2020 20:57:26 GMT
Taka: Great job, Dream! I should do some reviews, too.
Feb 17, 2020 5:24:39 GMT
Dream: Looks like MAL's currently down due to the site getting hit by a major denial-of-service attack, just as a heads up.
Feb 18, 2020 17:55:23 GMT
Taka: I added 2 polls tonight. Also, I wonder why MAL was down. Crunchyroll also had it, too.
Feb 20, 2020 4:05:24 GMT
Dream: Not sure about Crunchyroll. For MAL, the DoS attacks may have been retaliation by those who dabbled into manipulating the site's scoring system for certain anime titles. The admin on MAL announced they would be overhauling the system to prevent said...
