Visual Novel will get port to Steam for its English localization
After Muv-Luv Alternative is available on Steam, the staff will resume development on all Muv-Luv games for PlayStation Vita.
Publisher Degica and developer Ixtl launched the Kickstarter to localize Koki Yoshimune's Muv-Luv (Muv-Luv Extra and Muv-Luv Unlimited) and Muv-Luv Alternative visual novels in September 2015. The campaign met its initial goal of $250,000 within eight hours. The campaign went on to meet all of its stretch goals, including its goal to publish an English PC port of the "Photon Melodies" and "Photon Flowers," and its goal to offer physical copies Muv-Luv Alternative Codex art book. The campaign ultimately raised US$1,255,444.
The campaign was focused on a PC/Steam localization of the three games, but will offer Android and PlayStation Vita ports for both games because it met its US$500,000 stretch goal. Japan will also get the PlayStation Vita port.
Plot: In the game, you play as a shut-in who would much prefer to stay inside and play games. But one summer, he's forced outside to meet Seraphina, the girl of his dreams and his new next door neighbor. The game blends new art with a 90s pixelated style that will be all too familiar to players of vintage VNs and dating sims.
As part of site rules, I cannot post direct links to the kickstarter site as it violates the no advertising rule. Here's the Crunchyroll article.

Chizuru Yukimura travels from Edo to Kyoto in hopes of searching for her father who had mysteriously vanished. Along the way, she encountered the Shinsengumi, and spent the next four years working with them to locate her father. In 1868, the final year of the Bakumatsu Period, the Shinsengumi, with Chizuru at their side, took part in the Battle of Toba-Fushimi to decide the future of the Tokugawa Shogunate against the rising tide of Imperial Nationalism. Unfortunately, defeat for the Shinsengumi came swiftly at the hands of the Imperial Army, and they retreated back to Edo in shame.
It was a bittersweet homecoming for both Chizuru and the warriors of the Shinsengumi, as the city of Edo resembled very little of its former self, engulfed by the harrowing winds of change that were sweeping through the country. As the Shinsengumi’s survival came under threat, they were faced with a choice: discard their principles, or give up their lives. Some of them had no such choice, and they cloaked themselves in darkness to protect the Shinsengumi’s greatest secret: the Furies.
This is a story about a girl who allies with the warriors of the Shinsengumi, who are struggling to uphold their faith in an era of rapid social change in Japan, and the fate of those who sought to resist that change...
A calm spring day. The protagonist awakens in a hospital bed. However, he cannot remember at all who he is, or why he is laying in a hospital bed. Confused, he tries looking for clues to discover his identity, when four girls appear before him.
Kaede Takanashi, a girl who refers to herself as the protagonist’s little sister; Ayana Sakura, who is said to be a close friend of Kaede, as well as a close friend of the protagonist; Aoi Hazuki, who claims, “I am the real little sister here”; and Mashiro Hinoue, who did not say anything detailed, but calls the protagonist “big brother.”
Among the girls that showed up, three of them claim to be the protagonist’s “little sister,” but the three do not seem to be related themselves. Who is the real little sister, and why are they all claiming to be his little sister? The amnesia-stricken protagonist has not a clue.
The confused protagonist looks to his side and sees an unfamiliar smartphone. “Is this my smartphone?” When he powers it on, the screen suddenly lights up, and four girls he has never met project into the room before him. “Good afternooon!! We are the Little Sisters!!” The girls insist that they are also the protagonist’s little sisters, half-jokingly saying, “Big brother is surrounded by no one but little sisters, isn’t he!” The Little Sisters say, “We get that big brother lost his memories, but we don’t get how it happened…” and “We’ll lend big brother our strength to get back his memories!”
Following the girls suggestion—“First, let’s figure out who the real little sister is. If we look at the last name on the name plate of the hospital room, the real little sister should become clear”—the protagonist checks the name plate, but then—.
In addition to the PS4 and PS Vita releases, YU-NO: A girl who chants love at the bound of this world will also get Steam and Nintendo Switch releases as well
The game's protagonist travels between various parallel worlds in order to solve the mystery of his parents' disappearance. Although parallel worlds are not an unfamiliar concept in science fiction, the game uses concepts from physics, mathematics, philosophy, history and religion to construct a unique fictional universe. In particular, the "A.D.M.S." or "Auto Diverge Mapping System," which visually displays the branching parallel worlds/storylines as a tree, aids the player in navigation. The game also includes references to cannibalism and incest. A NEC PC-9801 edition, Sega Saturn edition and Microsoft Windows edition were released. All versions are rated 18+, although explicit sex scenes were removed from the Saturn and Windows editions. A hentai anime OVA as well as a manga and several novels were later released.

Info on the visual novel that has reached its kickstarter goal
Video game localization company NekoNyan launch a Kickstarter campaign for the physical release of its English and Chinese release of sprite's Aokana visual novel on Tuesday. The campaign has already surpassed its 10,000-euro (US$11,230 goal). As of press time, the campaign has raised 28,218 euros (US$31,585).
The campaign has also reached its first stretch goal of 25,000 euros (about US$28,049) to add another shikishi (colored paper board). The campaign page lists a total of five stretch goals for additional shikishi, a shikishi storage case, and a mystery reward if the crowdfunding campaign reaches the final stretch goal of 70,000 euros (about US$78,536). The campaign will end on July 31.
Other backer rewards include a physical box release of the game, as well as posters, clear files, a fan book, a soundtrack, and other merchandise.
The release is based on the console version of the game. However, it will still include the adult content from the game's original PC version, while adding the additional scenes from the console version. The game will be playable on 2K resolution. NekoNyan is working with Hikari Field to localize the game in Chinese. The game is planned for release this summer.
Game developer sprite had stated in English last August that there will be an overseas version of the game. When NekoNyan announced the localization project, it noted that it plans to release an 18+ patch for the Steam version, and also plans to release a physical version of the game. The company added that the adult scenes will not be mosaic-free "because sprite doesn't want it."
NekoNyan describes the game:
In a world where flying through the sky is as simple as riding a bicycle, the sport "Flying Circus" is all the rage.
Following the discovery of anti-gravitons, special shoes that allow an individual to fly, Anti-Graviton Shoes, took the world by storm. And with the Grav Shoes came an entire new world for people to explore. Not long after, that revolution in technology gave birth to a brand new sport, Flying Circus, which used the shoes to make players compete in the open sky.
Masaya Hinata, who was once considered a prodigy, turned his back on Flying Circus after suffering a crushing defeat, although there was also another reason... However, his former passion is reignited while teaching the new transfer student, Asuka Kurashina, how to fly.
This time, Masaya chooses to enter the world of Flying Circus not as a player, but a coach. Sometimes fighting, and at other times encouraging each other, he and his team decide to challenge the top student athletes in Japan.
Now, with Asuka by his side, how high will he be able to fly?
This is a love story about those who met through the sky, as well as the friends who surround them.
