The first two Kizumonogatari films have been confirmed as Collectors Editions, each with an artbook and artcards. Kizumonogatari Part 1: Tekketsu will be released on May 27, and Kizumonogatari Part 2: Nekketsu on June 24. The Kizumonogatari trilogy is based on the third volume in NisiOisin's Monogatari book series, which is a prequel to Bakemonogatari. The novel tells the story of how protagonist Koyomi encounters the female vampire that would turn him and his journey to return to his normal life.
Girls' Last Tour will be released as a Blu-ray Collectors Edition on May 13. It will carry the 12 episodes of the series, a 144-page storyboard book, and a 32-page artbook. Yen Press described the story of the source manga:
Civilization is dead, but Chito and Yuuri are still alive. So they hop aboard their beloved Kettenkrad motorbike and aimlessly wander the ruins of the world they once knew. Day after hopeless day, they look for their next meal and fuel for their ride. But as long as the two are together, even an existence as bleak as theirs has a ray or two of sunshine in it, whether they're sucking down their fill of soup or hunting for machine parts to tinker with. For two girls in a world full of nothing, the experiences and feelings the two share give them something to live for...
MVM gets Hana-Saku Iroha BDs
MVM has Tweeted that it will release the P.A. Works series Hana-Saku Iroha - Blossoms For Tomorrow on Blu-ray, with the first volume, carrying the first 13 episodes, due on June 13. It will be a standard Blu-ray, not a Collectors Edition, and it will use the same master as NIS America.
MVM added that it does not currently have the rights to the film sequel, Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home. "We've just got the license for the series. We'll wait to see how well it does first before looking into the movie."
[...] Roger Corman protégé Carl Colpaert (The Crew) made his directorial debut by combining repurposed excerpts from a foreign film – in this case, Mamoru Oshii's (Ghost in the Shell) spellbinding 1985 anime Angel's Egg – with new live action footage shot in America. The result is In The Aftermath, a haunting post-apocalyptic vision like no other.
In a radiation-soaked wasteland, two surviving soldiers, Frank and Goose, search for essential supplies amid the rubble. After a violent confrontation, Frank is haunted by visions of an angelic young girl holding a giant egg, herself a refugee from another world altogether. Could the egg be the key to saving both their worlds?
At first glance, high school sweethearts Hanabi Yasuraoka and Mugi Awaya appear to have the perfect relationship and while the two enjoy each other's physical companionship, they are merely using each other to feel anything other than pain as both Hanabi and Mugi are in love with other people. As this tangled web of emotions continues to ensnare others, viewers are exposed to the painful side of love, making this series often difficult to watch yet impossible to look away.

The inn's motto is that it welcomes all and will reject none, and this is soon put to the test as a string of new guests challenge Okko's ability to be a gracious host. But ultimately Okko discovers that dedicating herself to others becomes the key to taking care of herself.
