Since a lot of guys have been making threads I wanted to join the fray so yeah your favorite voice actor/actress, can be from any country ofc. You can list why he/she turned out to be your favorite and what that person's best role for you has been.
Mine would be Tomokazu Sugita and Sean Schemmel. Tomokazu Sugita's best role for me is definitely Sakata Gintoki, gotta give props he's good at what he does, and is overall a funny guy as I've watched some of his real life shows. Sean Schemmel is probably not on par but I just wanted to mention him as the guy literally shouts his lungs out, overall I find Schemmel better than Nozawa when it comes to Goku.
Likewise, I sometimes watch anime depending on the seiyuu's, even if the anime itself isnt that interesting for me. I like KanaHana a lot as well, when it comes to the seiyuu list of girls in popularity she is definitely up there in one of the best. Amamiya Sora, Kugiyama Rie, Tomokatsu Haruka and Sakura Ayane are good as well, for the newcomers Takahashi Rie is definitely one of the gems, her Megumin and Emilia are on point.
I don't you don't mind me posting any seiyuu related news.
Arisa Nishiguchi (known for voicing Quele Sellier of So, I Can't Play H!) has announced her retirement.
Voice actress Arisa Nishiguchi announced on her blog on Tuesday that she has left her agency Across Entertainment and retired from acting.
"The truth is, until now I haven't persisted in getting my way," she explained. "I admired the shining world in front of me, how it was overflowing with fun, and said "yes" as much as possible. But I saw my colleagues' passion and repeatedly questioned myself. After several years of thought, this is the conclusion I came to."
Nishiguchi apologized for the sudden announcement, but wondered if there are people who noticed already. She also thanked and apologized to her company president, manager, and everyone in production. After finishing vocational school at 19, she said, she immediately got a job where she didn't know left from right and caused trouble for her manager and the staff. However, she was inspired by looking up to her seniors at work, and she was able to miraculously learn a lot over six years in the industry, for which she is very grateful.
"When I was in elementary school I dreamed of the world of manga and anime," she added. "I feel like that dream will go on forever. It was a world overflowing with energy."
Nishiguchi's anime roles have included Quele Sellier in So, I Can't Play H!, Oage-san in Magica Wars, and Nijika in Niji-iro Prism Girl. She joined the unit Shunkan Realize with fellow voice actresses Rinko Natsuhi and Rei Mochizuki.
For those who like Kikuko Inoue, she and her 18-year-old daughter Honoka are posing as school girls.
The pair appear as good friends waiting on a train station platform during their commute to school. They use their special headphones to make the time go faster. The campaign marks the first time that the 52-year-old teenager and her daughter have posed together for uniform gravure photos.
-Maaya Sakamoto- Notable for her voice work as tomboys and cool, collected characters like Hitomi Kanzaki (Escaflowne), Shiki Ryougi (Kara no Kyoukai), Haruhi Fujioka (Ouran Host Club), and Farangis (Heroic Legend of Arslan). -Megumi Hayashibara- A decades-long veteran of the industry. Famous for her work with characters like Lina Inverse (Slayers), Rei Ayanami (Evangelion), Faye Valentine (Cowboy Bebop) and Ai Amano (Video Girl Ai). -Jouji Nakata- Well-known for his unique deep voice with his roles that include Folken Fanel (Escaflowne), Alucard (Hellsing), and Kirei Kotomine (Fate franchise). -Mamiko Noto- A popular seiyuu for more recent works. Her popular roles include Ai Enma (Hell Girl), Yakumo Tsukamoto (School Rumble), Nina Fortner (Monster), and Sawako Kuronuma (Kimi ni Todoke). -Tomokazu Seki- Many know him nowadays for his voice work as Fate's Gilgamesh. Besides Gil, Seki-san's also notable for his work as Sousuke Sagara (Full Metal Panic), Van Fanel (Escaflowne), Touya Kinomoto (Card Captor Sakura), and Shinichi Chiaki (Nodame Cantabile).
Voice actor Cole Brown passed away on Friday, November 18. He was 60.
Brown contributed to English dubs for FUNimation Entertainment for over 10 years. His many roles include Blackbeard in One Piece, Heaven Canceller in A Certain Magical Index, Vahriz in The Heroic Legend of Arslan, the Celestial Spirit King in Fairy Tail, and the narrators in Jormungand and Desert Punk.
Most recently, Brown was voicing Lord Redford in Izetta: The Last Witch. Funimation reported his passing on Thursday, and announced that David Wald will take his place in the role.
I. Daisuke Namikawa for Hisoka (HxH 11), Oikawa (Haikyuu!!), Narsus (Arlsan Senki), & Ichijou (Kaiji) II. Daisuke Ono for Jotaro Kujo (JoJo's David Pro), Shizuo (Durarara!!), Kyoma (Dimension W)*, & Mars (Sekko Boys) III. Miyuki Sawashiro for Kurapika (HxH 11), Ginko (Mushishi), Celty (Durarara!!), & Bishamon (Noragami) IV. Kouki Uchiya for Meruem (HxH 11), Tsukki (Haikyuu!!), Smile (Ping Pong) & Takumi (Battery)* V. Megumi Han for Gon (HxH 11) and Yamato (My Love Story!!)
*I don't think either those series are all that good but their performance definitely way.
I'm actually way more familiar with dub voice actors but since I rarely watch dubs anymore I'm just doing seiyuu's. Plus, it's easier and I'm lazy.

Taka: As for anime business, I'll work on the Spring 2020 anime stuff this weekend. I will finish up the Winter 2020 banners. My apologies. I thought I will out of work due to the virus outbreak. I'm glad I'm still working at the pharmacy

Dream: Looks like California and New York are now enforcing all non-essential workers to stay home, except for necessary needs and all public gatherings are banned, at least in New York. New York's are in effect Sunday.

Taka: 1 confirmed death in my hometown next to 19 confirmed cases. I heard the police are fining folks for not practicing social distancing on Facebook.
Mar 24, 2020 2:31:40 GMT
Dream: At least in New York right now, they're not enforcing it. But non-essential employers who aren't abiding by shutting down at this point will be fined and shut down at this point.

Master Menos: Had some serious personal trouble go on, but now I'm through it. On-Topic, where I'm in, everything but the stores (and possibly the restaurants) are closed down.

Taka: I think the only thing not closed for mass gathering other than essential services would be funerals in my area. The mayor and staff have been pretty busy in clarifying things in press releases. Edit: my mistake. Funerals are closed.
