Welcome to the The Unexplored Summon://Blood-Sign, both fans and newcomers to the series. This discussion is all about the story, characters, events, and anything else to do with the light novels.
"Summoning ceremonies can freely call forth even “those which lurk in the depths beyond the gods”. One boy has top-level abilities even among the cutting-edge summoners who can use those ceremonies. He is Alice (with) Rabbit aka Shiroyama Kyousuke. But this strongest boy summoner has a single fatal weakness. Certain “cursed words” spoken by girls: “Help me.”
When Kyousuke hears those words from Meinokawa Higan, a girl brought to the verge of death, he throws himself into a city where three great summoner forces clash!"
Alias: Mitou Shoukan://Blood Sign Author: Kazuma Kamachi Illustrator: Igawa Kazuki Publisher: ASCII Media Works Genre: Action, Fantasy

And did you know that some of the main cast appeared on screen for the A Certain Magical Index crossover at the very end?
Notably, Kyousuke and Aika, two characters from Blood-Sign, both have voice actors. Only other characters featured with voices was the Index and Railgun and the Heavy Object cast, with the series going on to have an anime announced.
Here's hoping there will be a Blood-Sign anime adaptation already in the works.
I just finished volume 1 opening 1 and it has my attention so far. I guess it's safe to assume that the MC's "final act" of helping this girl is going to turn into some crazy shit. Also Aika is creepy. I hope she was joking about that bone marrow transplant thing lol.
Alright I had put this on hold for a while to finish a game on my psvita but just picked it back up today and just finished chapter 2 I believe. Kyousuke finally stops being a dick and helps the poor girl by forming a contract with her and overriding her previous one with her sister. If I'm understanding this right he was only pretending to not give a shit to keep Higan out of trouble while he investigated "Illegal" and found enough proof on whatever it was they were doing so he could get "Government" involved? If that was the case why didn't he just tell her that so she wouldn't have ran off and did something that could ruin his plan?

Saladking, Well, he wanted to discourage her in every way from even trying to get involved while he did some investigation to get Government involved.
Probably because of her insistence to take immediate action to save her sister which would clash against his original plan of neither her nor him getting involved and forcing Government into a spot where they'll do it for them.
