The plot goes random again but the ending credits hint it however I wasn't sure if the original didn't build or hint to the kids. Shizu definitely wanted Rimul to beat the guy up and save those were summoned against their will
Folks who liked Land of the Lustrous and Ah My Goddess will pick otaku talk references
It went from building a small town to teaching kids
A whole metric crap load of stuff got skipped so if anyone has any questions, I can answer just about any of them. Here's an overview of the skipped stuff.
*Dwarf Kings Visit
*Demon Lord Meeting
*Rimuru's Science Team
*Mercenary Knight Yohm
*The Three Adventurers
*Beast Kingdom of Eurazania
*Visit to Dwargon
*Traveling to Blumund
*Wheeling and Dealing in Blumund
*Kingdom of Ingracia
Edit: All things considered, LN>Manga in the detailed world building and character details. Both do solid jobs at development in different ways and the anime has been pretty disappointing post Orc Lord about a lot of this.
Niconico Seiga and Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirus magazine's "Suiyōbi no Sirius" website began publishing a new spinoff manga on Saturday of author Fuse and artist Mitz Vah's That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken) light novel series.
Tae Tono is drawing the manga, titled Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken Ibun: Makuni Kurashi no Trinity (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Another Story: Trinity of the Magic Kingdom). Tono will publish new chapters on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month.
The manga centers on Phos, a girl from the Beast Kingdom of Eurazania. Phos goes to Tempest on secret orders from Demon Lord Carrion.
I think the animation is strangely different or better quality compared to past episodes. It feels like an OVA as we go to feature Shizu and her encounter with Kuro the demon who sounds like Takahiro Sakurai
It feels like a start or pilot for a spinoff series.

Taka: I see. A global release will benefit it. Gundam did pretty good. The only few franchises that are only popular in Japan but not popular in the west - Yokai Watch comes to mind.

Master Menos: F for Respects. DMX did all his work while suffering from a drug addiction, and I almost never knew until a point. I hope his next life treats him far better.
