Crunchyroll announced on Thursday that it will begin streaming the fifth OVA for the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime on November 27. The OVA will be available in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Crunchyroll describes the OVA:
Rimuru and the Class S students have made it through the first exercise of the Freedom Academy's annual outdoor training event. Class S has arrived first at the destination, the mansion of Count Guratol, and now they're ready to begin the second exercise, a cave exploration... but awaiting them there are thieves who hope to kidnap the students and make a fortune returning them for ransom money. Just when it seems like Rimuru's students have fought them off thanks to the skills he taught them, they realize a monster is lurking among the thieves! This is the final installment in the brand new episode created by the original author, Fuse-sensei, just for this OAD release!
Crunchyroll and Funimation announced on Friday that the second anime season of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime will premiere on January 5 in Japan. Crunchyroll will stream the season in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East. Funimation will stream the English-subtitled version on January 5, and it will stream an English dub at a date to be announced later.
The first television anime of Taiki Kawakami's manga, which in turn adapted author Fuse and artist Mitz Vah's light novel series, premiered in October 2018. The anime's second season will run two cours or two quarters of a year. The first cours will premiere in January 2021, while the second cours will premiere in July 2021. Shiba's spinoff manga The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensura Nikki Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken) will also get a television anime that will premiere in April 2021. Each of these anime were originally slated to premiere three months earlier, but were delayed due to the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) affecting their production schedules.

The video reveals and previews the anime's opening theme song "Storyteller" by TRUE, and also reveals new cast members. Ep 26The action stopped once Carrion's people deem Rimuru's people as worthy, strong allies. Rimuru had to help Shion. The women are heavy drinkers on Carrion's side. We open up trade deals: Carrion will supply fruits in exchange Rimuru's country will turn them into beer and wine.Rimuru head to the country of dwarves.
Rimuru catches up with the king. The king and his staff are stunned that Rimuru had befriended two demon lords and established trade with Carrion. The dwarfen king remarks Rimuru's new alcohol is the best he had. He said Rimuru's nation might surpass Falmuth, a nation that is the top of trade.
2nd part was completely fan service and for those who prefer elves.
3rd part was the human champion and his group looking down a wizard who wanted to join them. The wizard demonstrated how the group needed magic and how the champion was vulnerable to status ailments.
I was too busy when I watched this episode while multi tasking. I have to rewatch it. Myulan is a spy or something. She said she was a Majin. Through the human guy, she got introduced and bonded. One guy in the onsen fan service scene said he wishes Myulan to bear his child.
Falmuth will do a holy war because Rimuru ally himself with two demons and also, Rimuru's nation is a big rival in trade.
Myulan is in love with Youma. That was pretty quick and not enough time for something to cement. I don't feel much for her or Youma the human. Carrion is trying to get her to form a barrier to cancel magic while Falmuth soldiers march towards the capital Tempest to do prison barrier on top of that barrier.
Trivia - we earned Gobzo likes Shion.
The three humans from the other world like Rimuru arrive to cause trouble to make it look like a monster assaulted a human. They got caught by Shion and Shuna.
While Rimuru took his sweet time in trying to persuade (futile effort) the woman that he didn't kill Shizu. This person wouldn't accept either way as she's fighting for god and going to wipe out all monsters despite being impressed by how polite and strong Rimuru is.
Thanks to the Holy Church's anti monster barriers, both Rimuru and Tempest are debuff in their strength and stamina.
We don't see the bloodshed directly. We just see the destruction, the town burning, and the Tempest monster citizens' death screams.
The episode is tone deaf. The show isn't a serious, dark mature show; however, there are times when to be serious when it involves threats/deaths of folks. Rimuru never had any sense of urgency while he was talking to the wolf or the Grand Sage after escaping. His people are still in danger.
It's too late, people are dead. Rimuru is able to do this calmly without angrily killing Myulan. He has a human merchant witness who will spread the news. We learn 3 things that have been leading up to this:
The church hates monsters Falmuth views Rimuru's nation as a threat to their profits Clayman was pulling the strings
Rimuru discusses the plans while revealing he was a human being in his past life. Of course, everyone accepts Rimuru and his wishes to befriend humans. Though, they have to demonstrate that they are a threat in order to prevent attacks or keep Falmuth in check.
While Rimuru's forces take out the barriers and Shuna and Myulan set up their own barriers, Rimuru takes on the main force for his Demon Lord evolution requirement. First, he visits the camp of the knights that slaughtered his people.
A lot of set up and discussion. I always thought about Rimuru's past life. Compared to other isekai anime, he wasn't a hikikomori, a shut in, or had anything bad. I remember his regret was not starting to date.
Old Man Dream: ...later titles in the Macross franchise can finally come stateside with all involved parties finally coming to a truce over how to handle things with the Macross trademark and all later anime in the franchise associated with it.

Taka: I see. A global release will benefit it. Gundam did pretty good. The only few franchises that are only popular in Japan but not popular in the west - Yokai Watch comes to mind.

Master Menos: F for Respects. DMX did all his work while suffering from a drug addiction, and I almost never knew until a point. I hope his next life treats him far better.
