This was suggested in the best anime and manga of 2018 polls. I can't take this topic for the future poll because of sheer amount of battles with different assortment of characters means we are not likely to have overlap to determine the winner of said bonus question especially with our voter turnout. A multiple choice question with the 5 chosen nominees still won't reach everyone because of our diverse, small community.

Well obviously All Might vs All For One is top 3 this year. That anime adaptation is literally perfect. I would also put in the final fight between Akira and Ryo in Devilman Crybaby. That gave me deppresion for like a week straight. Naruto and Sasuke vs Momoshiki was amazing as well. As for manga, Luffy vs Katakuri was straight fire: one of the best fights in all of One Piece.
All Might vs All for One was definitely a highlight, but I will say the movie final fight of My Hero Academia was even better from animation, choreography and hype since I was seeing it in a crowded theater with people screaming and applauding.
DevilMan Crybaby fight was final fight was good I guess, but I personally stop caring at that point.
B the beggining fight with the skateboard girl was god damn great.
Dragon Ball Super final 3 v 1 fight with Jiren was hype even if I did not like the tournament arc that much.
How do you two days manga battle other artwork and quality of the illustration? I am an anime guy, so it feels weird to describe manga panels.
Well, outside of the artwork, a good factor a good manga fight will typically have is it being easy to tell what is happening in the panel. As much as I love Tokyo Ghoul, and love it to death I do, some of the fights seem like little more than a blur of ink. See the page below for example
Contrast this with Garou vs Tank Top Master from Onepunch man. Still visceral, but more easy to follow
Taka: Depending on my energy, I can watched up to 2 AM. Usually with work, I fall asleep on anime series that don't have a lot of action.

Master Menos: Finally got out of the fast food job. It was a graceful exit, but to be honest, I'll miss some of those guys. Got a sprained ankle from it since September, so I'll finally focus on healing that back at the family home.

HungryWorld: Well if anyone remembers what happened to Pingu in the City, with it being joke 10/10 scored on MAL just to get it into the top 10 anime... well now is Ishuzoku Reviewers' turn. Seems that in response to Funimation's cancel people boosted the score hard.

Taka: What? That sounds so weird.

Master Menos: It's damn awesome to be honest. It shot to 1st Place!

Dream: On the subject of MAL, it looks like the admin are planning to tweak their scoring system for titles to reduce the likelihood of voters artificially inflating the ranking of certain titles.

Master Menos: My V-Day present will be belated this year because I "Had some trouble with ol' Johnny." (That's your hint.)

Dream: The joys of adulthood. Joking aside, plan to at least attempt to wrap up Gankutsuou sometime early to mid next week so I can get done with my Funi voted titles. Afterward, not doing any more voting for a while considering how long this had been taking.

Dream: Done with Gankutsuou. Will be working to get a review up for it by sometime tonight.

Taka: Great job, Dream! I should do some reviews, too.

Dream: Looks like MAL's currently down due to the site getting hit by a major denial-of-service attack, just as a heads up.

Taka: I added 2 polls tonight. Also, I wonder why MAL was down. Crunchyroll also had it, too.
Feb 20, 2020 4:05:24 GMT
Dream: Not sure about Crunchyroll. For MAL, the DoS attacks may have been retaliation by those who dabbled into manipulating the site's scoring system for certain anime titles. The admin on MAL announced they would be overhauling the system to prevent said...
