I forgot Senku had a father. Turns out he was in space with his crew during the time the Earth was petrified. For some reason, I don't look forward to this arc because we have a small group of adults who are the only ones on Earth not petrified. This village is probably descended from that group.
This is the end of Senku's father's flashback arc. Thought it would be longer. I thought all 6 people would make a couple (one's already a married couple and we have 2 men and women). We did get a new couple but that ended with them succumbing, the wife dying first before the husband dying later. We never heard from the couple who left the island to get antibiotics for the wife.
The singer girl and Senku's father never married or had kids. They took care of 4 kids. I didn't know the deceased couple had kids.
It's still a very narrow gene pool when all 4 kids intermarry.
How Senku's father's story manage to get passed down orally without any alterations is pretty incredible.
We go in the kingdom of might perspective through Hyoga. We introduced the new character, Homura, the right hand woman of Hyoga. We had deaths of minor characters due to Hyoga pushing them down to test whether there were sulfuric gas.
Senku's latest ambitions making cellphone is way more ridiculous and less realistic compared to past inventions where I can see the process and agree it was plausible for them to create given their materials. The convenient thunderstorm for the making magnets was plot convenient.
We did light bulbs to transition to vacuum tubes which you see on circuit boards. These are important for cell phones and anything electronic. A lot of time passed in this episode, 2 months.
Most episodes in Dr. Stone has been jammed pack with content.
We made more gears. I never seen a rectangular gear before. The village is preparing for winter. Coincidences are a frequent thing in this anime. They had their light bulbs on a tree just in time for Christmas.
It was supposed to be a special episode as the gang threw a surprise birthday gift, a telescope, for Senku. Yet, it wasn't really a Senku focused episode. It was another run of the mill Dr. Stone episode with the muscle guy getting redemption/trust with Chrome in the first half.
Science lesson of the week - we learn how Tungsten and other metals are formed and a lot of rocks in a brief and quick otaku rock frenzy scene.
Hong Kong content distributor MediaLink Entertainment Limited's Ani-One YouTube channel announced on Saturday that it will stream a simulcast of Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, the second season of the anime of Boichi and Riichirou Inagaki's Dr. Stone manga. It also posted a Chinese-subtitled trailer for the anime.
Unlike the other anime series that have sequels, triquels and more this Winter 2021 season, I do remember season 1 of Dr. Stone. It's not too long ago. Our invention of the week is cup ramen. I totally they were going to make space food. Because winter is disadvantageous for commencing combat, Senku and his folks will take the initiative and bring the fight first. They made ramen so they can eat while fighting.
We had some scenes where they talked about recording a voice on a phone. Gen, the soda guy, can do impressions, a woman's voice. They are going to do propaganda to convince some of Tsukasa's people to join the side of science.
Not a strong pilot but it continues the story seamlessly.
Senku develops a rough "flash bomb" after putting blue powder on her to track her. We get to see her gymnastics background. We somehow reunited Senku with two old friends over the phones. Just how they were able to spot that? We find out next episode.
Gen stopped the men from smashing the statues of which Tsukasa wanted to revive. The show borders on that. I don't think they ever cross that line. Tsukasa smash statues but we haven't seen humans killing humans yet.
While we had Gen and his side's scenes, the more funner parts of the episode was convincing a super fan of Lillian to join our group. American singers don't give out measurements compared to the Japanese idols and celebrities. Senku and Gen did their best to answer the questions. Nikki the guard knew it all along. The song was the major aspect that won her over. She wanted to hear more songs. However with time's passage (though, depending on the storage device. I think USBs are more hardier than DVDS/CD-ROMs), Senku said there was no way.
Now, they work on the plan to recruit more of Tsukasa and avoid blood shed. I doubt they can avoid any blood shed. They will minimize it for sure as best as they could.

Old Man Dream: Been wanting an anime remake for Tsukihime for a while, provided it gets Ufotable at the helm of animating it. Like Fate, but the horse for it's getting squeezed dry enough, especially with its many spinoffs.
