Taka : Pretty much with HI-DIVE, you have full access to all of Sentai Filmworks' anime library, counting TV shows, movies, and OVAs. While not as large a selection as Crunchyroll, you still have a good-sized selection of titles to wade through, all of the content is uncensored, and you have the option to set video streaming to high-def.
Compared to Netflix and Crunchyroll though, HI-DIVE does have some quirks I'm not a fan of. 1. To access your queue, you need to select it from the home page. This isn't included in the top navigation bar of options at the top of the page like CR and Netflix, which is a big inconvenience. 2. The queue lacks an option for you to choose a list view for the queue, and doesn't allow you the option to arrange your queue list manually as it limits you to automated filter choices by date, alphabetically, genre, or audio options. 3. The video resolution is large enough on the web page as such where in normal view, sections of it can't be seen unless you zoom out the page within your browser. This wasn't an issue in CR and Netflix where the video would properly fit within the window and automatically adjust itself depending on browser window size.
That is awkward. Crunchyroll has no options to filter the queue like HIDIVe. I haven't used the queue. I see you can move it on CR. I found out HIDIVe doesn't record your viewing history. At least they keep the color bars on the episodes you watched.
The 3rd one - didn't know about that either.
I found out it's better to watch HIDIVE on Roku TV app than the computer because it was hard to see the subs. You can adjust the subs from yellow to white on the computer. For Roku, didn't experiment or find out you can adjust the subs. The subs look like this
Taka: From within my browser, you do have the option to change the language options for the video, provided an English audio option is available. Audio is in Japanese with English subtitles by default.
Someday I’ll be gone To somewhere that we belong And God has never played his role 'Cause I’m the one who saves my soul It’s a perfect world we’re longing for
FUNimation and HIDIVE - you have to adjust the language using the drop down menu. Crunchyroll has separate videos for language and group on the computer. If you're on the PS3 and PS4 app, the videos are not in nice separate sections.
I think HIDIVE resetted less with the language option compared to FUNimation where it forget what language I wanted to watch on.
Old Man Dream: Well, I went ahead and already spoiled myself over later events in the series. Looks like that gets fairly messy with handling its little plot twist involving Rika, Satoko, and the mentioned story element having some assume there's some sort of...

Old Man Dream: ...Umineko crossover. May have liked the idea with better handling of the story development. But it's basically made Satoko a rather unlikable character now.

Taka: It's a gigantic mech franchise. I haven't seen Macross myself. I know it's a big one.

Taka: I see. A global release will benefit it. Gundam did pretty good. The only few franchises that are only popular in Japan but not popular in the west - Yokai Watch comes to mind.

Master Menos: F for Respects. DMX did all his work while suffering from a drug addiction, and I almost never knew until a point. I hope his next life treats him far better.
