Hello everyone, I'm starting a small project, doing reviews to promote both Anime Vice Boards and To Hollywood and Beyond Wikia. Mike had asked me about reviews in the Wikia after we posted Dream and SnowyMountain's tips into one super review guide that incorporates both reviewers experiences in reviewing anime/manga and TV/Films. I was thinking on how to promote reviews. This is one of the answers I thought about I'm not a good reviewer, just doing this to encourage folks to either review in either sites or both. Having some fun, too. (Have been doing wiki work a lot. Needed to wind down a bit)
Short Background: I'm not an avid comic book reader. I got into comics through the 1990's animated adaptations of Spider-Man, Batman, Superman, Static Shock. I'm basing reviews based on that experience.
This is a reinterpretation of the three DC heroes: Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman on their origin stories as the film explores them while tying it to the conflict in the film which revolves around someone framing the Justice League over the murders of the scientists.
As mentioned earlier, this is a new look on these 3 heroes. It's like a What If Scenario. The film meshes their stories well into the plot, serving to flesh out these characters.
Voice acting and animations are great. Makes the characters and story compelling and come to life.
If you loved Bruce Timm's Batman and Superman series, you will love this series. It brings back the old school animation style but in a more mature fashion.
In any DC film with multiple heroes, the spotlight won't always be even. Batman's story had more weight than the others. Depends on your preferences.
Final Resolution: While the surprises and plot twist were great, the ending is a bit too easy where the city accepts the Justice League. Superman and Batman move forward to help people while Wonder Woman faces her past with a help of another person. It's one happy ending. For those who expected more or a bitter ending, you won't get it.
Not for your family friendly audience. It can be a bit jarring since if you grew up with the family friendly with subtle dark and under the radar jokes. You see this similar, nostalgic animation in much grittier and violent fashion.
I would definitely recommend this to older audiences who grew up with the series and new fans who like mature DC films. It's not as dark and violent as Batman: The Dark Knight Returns.
Justice League: War - How the Justice League is form.
Wonder Woman (2009) - If you like Wonder Woman, this is movie features her story with her traditional backstory.
I loved this movie. Is the best thing DC animated released in years as all movies after (and counting) JL: War were awful, awful movies, with mischaracterizations, horrible voice acting and lack of respect for the original material. The Batman Vs Robin movie gutted two awesome storylines into a frakenstein monster of a movie.
I have no idea how or when I'm able to move threads outside of my jurisdiction. All time to move this thread into the review section. I should do a review of Justice League vs. Teen Titans soon since yuanagis promoted the movie with his battle thread, Trigon vs Saitama.
Old Man Dream: Have bad news and good news regarding Pop Team Epic. Bad news, I didn't realize Tubi only had the first five episodes of the series on their site, so that's as far as I can go with it on there. Good news, Retro Crush thankfully has the full series up...

Old Man Dream: ...on their site, so I'll be watching the remainder of the series from there. Should be able to wrap it up by later this week, as I expect to be a little slower in my progression of it during the week.

Taka: That is bizarre for Tubi TV to only have 5 episodes.
