This is an anime only review. I haven't read the manga. Though, I wished I done the review with the show fresh on my mind when I was on an Amazon Prime one month binging marathon in the summer of 2020. To my surprise, I didn't leave a lot of comments on the discussion thread which I used as my notes. Mistakes will be made. I tried to write a longer review. For this type of show with 10 episodes, there are not a lot to talk about.
To get on the review, the show has no plot or major obstacle/conflict for our characters to overcome or achieve as I remember. With most romance shows, the goal for most is to establish a couple. With My Girlfriend is Shobitch, they already become girlfriend and boyfriend at the beginning. What is their goal? For Haruka, he wants to be cool in the later half of the show. For the second person in the relationship, Akiho Kosaka, has a flaw. She wants to be the best girlfriend for Haruka, but she tends to over do things or jump to sexual things or misunderstandings that deals with sexual things. This show has a lot of dirty minded characters. Akiho is not a dirty minded girl. It's just that she approaches it in a straight forward manner. However, it seems to contradict Akiho's character or my memory is wrong as Akiho displays a wild imagination. When a young male classmate joins their group and does things with Haruka, she has a vivid imagination of them doing yaoi things.
That is where the bulk of the humor comes from: naughty, sexual jokes, misunderstandings, and Haruka being the straight man. As for fan service and ecchi comment, there are a plethora of panty shots, gainax bounce, and camera zooming on the chest, leg, and panty areas. The minor characters do not evolve or help our main characters. They exist for the humor with their quirks or misunderstandings.
Overall, if you're an older fan who likes ecchi, I will definitely recommend it to you. For anyone casual or new to anime, I would not recommend the anime as it has not much story or character content. It's a really short series with not much substance other than dirty humor.
Old Man Dream: Well, I went ahead and already spoiled myself over later events in the series. Looks like that gets fairly messy with handling its little plot twist involving Rika, Satoko, and the mentioned story element having some assume there's some sort of...

Old Man Dream: ...Umineko crossover. May have liked the idea with better handling of the story development. But it's basically made Satoko a rather unlikable character now.

Taka: It's a gigantic mech franchise. I haven't seen Macross myself. I know it's a big one.

Old Man Dream: Guess we don't get it. Make things short and sweet: Through some unintentional legal wranglings, Harmony Gold's owned international rights to the Macross name for decades and its Japanese developers, disgusted by the move, had not allowed...

Taka: I see. A global release will benefit it. Gundam did pretty good. The only few franchises that are only popular in Japan but not popular in the west - Yokai Watch comes to mind.

Master Menos: F for Respects. DMX did all his work while suffering from a drug addiction, and I almost never knew until a point. I hope his next life treats him far better.
