I finished the show but no doubt this bittersweet ending is going to divide fans with justice and retribution and the decisions characters made before peace and after peace.
I'm neutral as long the series is good despite the bittersweetness
I can overlook at some people getting away with things and not get their comeuppance and it reflects a theme in another anime and video game or something about "justice" and "winners" are ones who can rewrite history. Ironically, Rustal brought peace with the death of our heroes while writing them as villains or out of the history books.
War is messed up and the ideals of finding family and a place you belong are strong themes.
My main issues was how Tekkadan weren't as rooted with the main antagonist and they should have made it personal since their enemies were the corruption of Ghalla whatever horn. Yes, McGillis was using them like how Rustal was using others like Nobliss. And how season 2's direction went from season 1.
The inclusion of Mobile Armor felt like either it was unnecessary or underutilized. I thought we might get something like the antagonist being AI instead of humans.
Some characters if you were fans of them like Kudelia didn't have a role in season 2 and some questions about characters left unanswered about their place in the epilogue such as Azee Gurumin and Almiria. I do try to keep track of named characters in Tekkadan but most of them aside from the main ones were unmemorable.
Things I enjoyed were Atra and Kudelia's happy family (feel bad Miksa isn't there) and Iok dying
still wanted Julietta and Galileo and Rustal die in the end
I did not like the ending at all... mainly because I got emotional when Mika died... the pain only went from bad to worst when Kudelia was having a lovely political talk with Rustal and Jullieta in the back.... I was legit pissed, guess the show got me riled up, I was only happy when I saw Mika and Atra's kid, the boy was adorable! literally Mika with Atra's haircolor. For some weird reason I got some weird yuri vibes from Kudelia and Atra. Ride doing justice for Orga's death was also a great part, I hope he does the same to Rustal and Jullieta, give Mika justice! sadly it seems this is the end, woulda hoped we get another story based from this with Mika's kid as the MC taking revenge for his father. Overall a very entertaining and heartbreaking Gundam franchise, still enjoyed the 1st season better than the 2nd, and Im still pissed with Rustal getting away with everything.
On ANN, they talked about this gifted artist on Twitter who made the 3D model for Gundam Barbatos
No, it's not an illustration but an actual 3D model. Gunpla builder Kyo used tricky paint techniques to achieve a 2D appearance on a 1/100-scale Barbatos Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. When placed against a black background, the figure really just looks like a painting.
Then, when standing next to 3D objects, tlooks like a paper cutout. The illusion is really impressive.
TL;DR: It's set in the same continuity as Iron-Blooded Orphans, but focuses on a young man named Wisutario Afamu living on a Venus space colony that is a remote location used to exile criminals and wishes to shake up the status quo via use of the Uror Hunt mobile suit. The new series is currently called Iron-Blooded Orphans: Urs Hunt. It will be streamed live on a Japanese mobile app with gaming elements.
Someday I’ll be gone To somewhere that we belong And God has never played his role 'Cause I’m the one who saves my soul It’s a perfect world we’re longing for
Master Menos: Finally got out of the fast food job. It was a graceful exit, but to be honest, I'll miss some of those guys. Got a sprained ankle from it since September, so I'll finally focus on healing that back at the family home.

HungryWorld: Well if anyone remembers what happened to Pingu in the City, with it being joke 10/10 scored on MAL just to get it into the top 10 anime... well now is Ishuzoku Reviewers' turn. Seems that in response to Funimation's cancel people boosted the score hard.

Taka: What? That sounds so weird.

Master Menos: It's damn awesome to be honest. It shot to 1st Place!

Dream: On the subject of MAL, it looks like the admin are planning to tweak their scoring system for titles to reduce the likelihood of voters artificially inflating the ranking of certain titles.

Master Menos: My V-Day present will be belated this year because I "Had some trouble with ol' Johnny." (That's your hint.)

Dream: The joys of adulthood. Joking aside, plan to at least attempt to wrap up Gankutsuou sometime early to mid next week so I can get done with my Funi voted titles. Afterward, not doing any more voting for a while considering how long this had been taking.

Dream: Done with Gankutsuou. Will be working to get a review up for it by sometime tonight.

Taka: Great job, Dream! I should do some reviews, too.

Dream: Looks like MAL's currently down due to the site getting hit by a major denial-of-service attack, just as a heads up.

Taka: I added 2 polls tonight. Also, I wonder why MAL was down. Crunchyroll also had it, too.
Feb 20, 2020 4:05:24 GMT
Dream: Not sure about Crunchyroll. For MAL, the DoS attacks may have been retaliation by those who dabbled into manipulating the site's scoring system for certain anime titles. The admin on MAL announced they would be overhauling the system to prevent said...
