Oh I was under the impressions you finished Kuroko's Basketball. I see. I had fun with Kuroko's, but I wished it didn't rush. Well, I hope you find something to enjoy like Haikyu. Agreed with you on Prince of Stride.
Yuri on Ice - I seen the PV. After seeing Kurokami no Onna ice skating, I never saw ice skating to be cool until she changed my mind. I'm hoping to check it out, too.

I don't have a manga discussion thread, but I probably won't make one since this community consists mostly of battle users whose demographics favors manga series of shonen and seinen. A sport manga series doesn't do well historically in Anime Vice.
Here are manga related news:
According to the newest Oricon sales report, the 23rd volume of Haruichi Furudate's sport manga Haikyu!!, released on October 4 in Japan, sold 478,598 copies in its first week, becoming the top-selling manga tankobon of the week ended October 9. It was twice more than the week's second top-seller, the 21st volume of Yuki Midorikawa's Natsume Yujincho with 225,320 copies, but 49,819 down from the first week sales of the previous 22nd volume released in July.
The last 25th volume of Naoshi Komi's love comedy Nisekoi ranks 3rd with 157,830 copies, the 41st volume of Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro's action adventure Toriko sold 135,390 copies and ranked 4th. Last week's winner, the 12th volume of Chica Umino's Sangatsu no Lion/March comes in like a lion drops to 5th with 111,801 copies.
Dream: It looks like reported coronavirus cases in Japan have stayed fairly stable since the country's state of emergency was lifted. Unless there's a major spike in cases, don't think we have to worry about production delays for this season.

Dream: Currently on the third and last volume to the True Tenchi Muyo light novels, Washu. Got about 40-50 pages left to read of it before I'd say I'm done.

Taka: Virtual anime conventions - this year has been taking twists and turns. People are making adjustments. I think I spend over 100 dollars every time I go to Anime Expo each year (counting in total of badge cost, food, transportation, and merchandise).

Taka: I'll be saving money. Though, the pandemic has caused a lot of folks to have reduced hours, took time off, or laid off. Most folks' disposable income is a bit tight.

Dream: With Appare Ranman resuming in a few weeks, guess I'll cream through whatever episodes were released before its delay to see if I'll stick with the remaining ones this season.

Taka: So Tenchi Geminar has a school full of mostly girls just like Infinite Stratos and many harem shows.
Jul 8, 2020 6:50:40 GMT
Dream: Yeah. After Tenchi Muyo, Masaki Kajishima dabbled into several other harem titles, some of which not being based in the Tenchi timeline, which all have the same resolution of where the male lead "has them all." But they aren't really as popular.

Taka: I need to finish Geminar and GXP. Just cancel FUNimation which leaves me until July 23rd unless there are at least 3 shows that catch my eye from this season.
