Let's transfer your blog, Taichokage: Well comrades, what many of us have been waiting to hear has become official. I present you with this short blog. As announced in this year's 17th issue, the recent success One Punch Man serialized in Shueisha's Young Jump has been handed over to Madhouse Studios for it's upcoming anime. needless to say I was extremely pleased to hear this. Given it's quality of art, the average studio likely could not capture the essence. Below is a sample of some of the art that is present in the manga. It's a Gif made by rapidly flashing manga panels.
Now the quality isn't always this great but it is consistently high. It becomes apparent why a high quality animation studio is quite important for this particular series.
The 2 most centerpiece characters Saitama and his apprentice Genos (think robin to Batman) are to be voiced by Makoto Furukawa (notable for many minor roles including Gustav from the Seven Deadly Sins) and Kaito Ishikawa (small roles in Kuroko no Basket, Haikyuu and others).
So what do you guys and gals think of this development. Yay or nay?

Here's the past cast announcements:

Taka: It's a gigantic mech franchise. I haven't seen Macross myself. I know it's a big one.

Old Man Dream: Guess we don't get it. Make things short and sweet: Through some unintentional legal wranglings, Harmony Gold's owned international rights to the Macross name for decades and its Japanese developers, disgusted by the move, had not allowed...

Taka: I see. A global release will benefit it. Gundam did pretty good. The only few franchises that are only popular in Japan but not popular in the west - Yokai Watch comes to mind.

Master Menos: F for Respects. DMX did all his work while suffering from a drug addiction, and I almost never knew until a point. I hope his next life treats him far better.
