There has been a rash of news about Final Fantasy VII Remake such as its battle mechanics.
I try to be top of things.
We had an article on Square Enix making the remake a multi-part series.
Character designer Tetsuya Nomura added, "If you did get it into a single release, there would be things we'd have to put into a shortened compilation … Since we thought there would be stuff we would probably have to pare down and supplemental things we probably couldn't add, we decided to divide it up, concluding that we have to do a remake that's fully packed with content."
Final Fantasy VI has a steam release on December 16, 2015.
The War of Magi left little but ashes and misery in its wake. Even magic itself had vanished from the world. Now, a thousand years later, humankind has remade the world through the power of iron, gunpowder, steam engines, and other machines and technologies.
But there is one who possesses the lost power of magic--a young girl name Terra whom the evil Empire has kept enslaved in an effort to harness her power as weapon. This leads to a fateful meeting between Terra and a young man named Locke. Their harrowing escape from the Empire's clutches sets in motion a series of events that touches countless lives and leads to one inevitable conclusion.
There was an announcement and a new trailer for the World of Final Fantasy game.
A new trailer for World of Final Fantasy, an upcoming RPG for the PS Vita and PS4 scheduled to be released in 2016, was unveiled at the Jump Festa 2016 convention and is now available online. The footage features cut scenes with cameos by chibi versions of various characters from other Final Fantasy games, and the visual aesthetic gives off a very Kingdom Hearts-style vibe.
Jump Festa is an annual exhibition by Shueisha, the publishers of such manga magazines as Weekly Shōnen Jump and Jump SQ. Jump Festa 2016 runs from December 19 - December 20, 2015, at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. The main characters are Lann and Reynn, twin siblings. While Reynn is energetic, sometimes he can be a little bit dull. He's on top of his game when it counts, however. Twin sister Reynn is cautious and intelligent, but the exact opposite of Lann. Both of them have mysterious powers in their arms that manifests itself as armor that appears on their arms.
Then, we get shots of Mirage and the game play mechanics
Here is another news, not related to the future games here. Lightning is the most marketable character out of the Final Fantasy representatives. I know folks love it or don't love it.
Nicolas Ghesquière, a French fashion designer and the creative director of fashion house Louis Vuitton, took to Instagram recently to unveil a new series of ads (entitled "Series 4") which feature Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII modeling real life clothes and accessories created by Louis Vuitton.
We have a new roster addition to Dissidia Final Fantasy. Ramza of Final Fantasy Tactics will be joining the game.
There is some changes with future plans for this game.
If the current roster of three-on-three arcade fighter Dissidia Final Fantasy isn't enough for you, director Takeo Kujiraoka shed some light on future plans when speaking with Famitsu. It looks like the first new character to join the lineup will be Ramza from Final Fantasy Tactics, with more individual additions to follow every month and a half or two months after.
Kujiraoka apologized for not being able to be more specific about the time table and other details, adding, "Production on the Chaos-side of characters has already begun, so please wait a little longer for more information."
