I miss the non-big-budget films like Tremors, Deep Rising, Lake Placid, Anaconda, The Blob, Troll Hunter, Monsters, Piranha (1978), The Beast (1996), and the last one I really enjoyed was Grabbers - UK film.
Or suggest a monster film, I may not have seen that is not that bad?
Do you happen to know any interesting big budget monster/horror movies? I am the very opposite. I like monster movies and horror but everything i pick up turns out to be low budget. The weird effects and low production values just take me out of the movie.
I am definitely looking forward to Avengers2 so much more than Star Wars. I have never been a star wars fan, which is probably the reason why i enjoyed the prequels (or at least the first and second one. The 3rd one sucked). I didn't have that attachment to the first 3 movies.
Taka You could likely just cut out the text and image and throw them into a new image for a few seconds as new layers, extend the background of the banner (Black and white area), then just drop the text and image back in and resize them until it fits if you wanted.
That ones small enough now but its length has been reduced, so it's up to yourself if you want to run it through the mill again.
Taka shouldn’t be too hard to extend that as far as you need with a bit of knowledge and an eye for accuracy. I will have a look at it in the morning and see if I can extend it out to something more fitting, too tired now to bother with anything other than sleep.
Saw the Lego Movie a few minutes ago. It was pretty awesome. That song is addicting and stays in your head. The movie had a crazy concept (which I won't spoil for new folks who haven't seen it) The wonders what crazy glue can do.
Still on my free month trial for Netflix. After watching Expelled from Paradise, I have no idea what to watch since their anime library is so small. I had watched most of these shows on HULU and Crunchyroll which I'm paying right now.
I look at what films they have in their digital library. Saw Transformers Age of Extinction. I know the movie had a lot of negative reviews. I find the movie decent but not too horrible. One of the major things I don't like was the change in Optimus Prime's character. As a kid, I revered him as a hero along with Batman and Spider-man. Heroes don't kill. Though this movie's incarnation, he does kill his robots. For him to kill a human being in this film wasn't perceived as good personally.
The jarring yet probably good part of the movie was the bioethical experimentation of Transformers. I never seen that in the Transformers franchise ever. We had a Gundam vs Transformers discussion on which franchises do well in different categories. Gundam series are usually darker than Transformers. This is the first time I seen Transformers getting this dark. I only seen Beast Wars, Armada, and Energon wars. I have never read the comics or seen anything else.
Well, I better find some movies outside of my usual preferences to watch each night. Otherwise, I just cancel my Netflix account.
Taka: It's a gigantic mech franchise. I haven't seen Macross myself. I know it's a big one.

Taka: I see. A global release will benefit it. Gundam did pretty good. The only few franchises that are only popular in Japan but not popular in the west - Yokai Watch comes to mind.

Master Menos: F for Respects. DMX did all his work while suffering from a drug addiction, and I almost never knew until a point. I hope his next life treats him far better.
