I don't know why you are comparing the game to other anime's fighting game and J Star especially if the reader isn't familiar or played Naruto or J Star. J Star is a crossover fighting game with multiple anime series, so it's obvious that they won't have a cohesive, compelling story since not all characters won't be represented right.
The video game isn't geared towards new fans. Forgot to add that to the review especially since One Piece games (based on my experience with One Piece Pirate Warriors) + Naruto falls into it don't go into the story much. It's only for One Piece fans.
I actually met someone online who got into Naruto entirely because of how much he liked the story/gameplay in one of those games. I haven't played any of them myself so I don't know how good they are but I can see why it'd be a problem just to get highlight reel then something a little more engrossing. I had actually suspected Burning Blood would end up that way so I just skipped the cut-scenes (also, the Marineford arc is one of the series worst arcs imo), glad to see I wasn't wrong.
Anyway, good review. I'm with Taka on the coding to make the individual segments pop out more. & yeah, why did they give Smoker two slots? I can forgive most of the roster faults (like I'm cool with the fact that I have five different Luffy's) but the only difference between the two is haki.
Old Man Dream: Before jumping into Cinderella, found a means to see Make Mine Music. Did have to literally jump around between several different streaming sites to see all its segments. But nearly done. Not sure if I'll get around to reviewing it tonight. But...

Taka: That's interesting. Some sites list Attack on Titan Final Season as Winter 2021 or Fall 2020 due to it being aired in Dec 7, 2020.
