Note: This review contains no spoilers. This is also my Christmas 2016 gift to you lovely viewers as of this post.
"Keijo!!!!!!!!" is a 12 episode sports and ecchi anime series about a young woman who decides to enter a gambling sport where women have to fight atop a platform in a pool and must fight using only their breasts and buttocks until one of them falls off of said platform. From there, she and her fellow players train in hopes to enter the pro leagues.
Storyline Despite the beginning of the story allegedly taking place right after an arc of the manga counterpart (one flashback aside), the story happens to be structured and paced very nicely. It ends up being more than just excelling into a higher class after a point and ends up doing it's own thing within future arcs and did it in very interesting ways, especially as a sports anime with an underdog trait. All of the major events manage to attain intense and insane moments all the way to the rear end of the show, which turned out to be way more satisfying than open.
Characters The meat and potatoes here (although, the (actual) plot is also a main dish in this case), and most of everyone is great here, including the rival training school. Although Nozomi has the mirroring goals and traits of a common shounen protagonist, she turns out to be a very great character and brings the fun alongside Aoba with her amazing ability and personality, Sayaka for not only the same thing, but her development turned out vividly memorable, Kyoko for being a very fun teacher-like person and Kotone for being awesome all around and sharing the first place spot for a favorite ability alongside Aoba's. Some people may be put off of Non's ditziness, the darkness that comes from the news reporters and especially Mio's perverted antics, but they happen to be neutral characters instead while Non is one of the characters that turned out to be extremely enjoyable just like most of the cast.
Pros and Cons The art style is mostly standard, but turned out to be very awesome, especially among the Keijo Battles/Races and the animation does get rather messed up at times, but at the most part, it turns out to be very well done. The best thing here is that the fanservice happens to be part of the story and melds well with it on the most part, even for humor and especially for the races, which are awesomely executed on the most part and either added to the amazing comedy or made the mood very intense. This turned out to be a well working parody on not only fanservice itself, but of the battle/sports shounen genre. Lastly, this show has more butt emphasis than boob emphasis like many common ecchi shows do and could be a breath of fresh air for those that either like the booty more anyway or just want a show with more booty involved after being submerged in cleavage for a great while.
Those that aren't into explicit and prevalent fanservice or (not so explicit) nudity will not like this show much and the same goes for those that end up taking the story far too seriously. The show actually isn't meant to be taken too seriously in the first place despite some advertisements and in the case that a viewer does heed the warning, they will more likely have lots of fun with the show than those that did take the show too seriously.
Dub and Sub Comparison/Evaluation Both the Japanese and English dubs sound very nice and fitting for all the voices involved. For the accent and dialects that the main four characters have for the English dub, they are spot-on and don't sound bad at all and translated nicely alongside most of the dialogue in general. As of this review's release, over half of the episodes have been simul-dubbed in English, but you can't go wrong with choosing either the English dub or English sub due to the high quality that they both have.
Final Verdict After sitting through this curvaceous beauty, this ended up being my favorite ecchi anime series, usurping the throne of many a guilty pleasure. For that, this obtains a 10/10 for the wonderful performance! Those that are looking for some dumb fun involving mounds of fanservice that is used mostly well won't ever go wrong with this show.
Current Situation: I wanted another excuse to use Enterprise as an avatar again.
Yeah definitely is my favorite fan service anime, excluding Kill la Kill since the animation is more for comedy than fan service, so I never consider it a junk food fan service, but some people do. I am glad that they did not started from the manga since they might not get a season two, and instead head to the school part. I mean granted the manga does give Nozomi a bit more personality instead of your average shonen character that just happen to be charming and fun, but I am fine with that.
I never watched the dub, but I'm curious on how you said they handled accents in the English dub. The only time I seen accents in English dub anime was Infinite Stratos because each girl came from a different country which makes sense. For Japanese accents translating into English dub, I can't imagine that.
Besides the dub, I agree the animation does get messy. The outlines tend to get thick. Being a show that is fan service, body parts will be exaggerated and anatomically toony. For those who love ecchi, the fan service isn't as high bar. I seen people talk about the booty (while I was like what) and how it wasn't sexy. I don't know anymore. I think the fan service was fine.
Edit: If you seen the manga, I'm glad the anime's art style is much better than the manga since the manga doesn't really make the girls cute looking.
For guilty pleasure shows, I wouldn't be too embarrassed to watch it with folks compare to Prison School and Shimoneta.
Taka: I see. A global release will benefit it. Gundam did pretty good. The only few franchises that are only popular in Japan but not popular in the west - Yokai Watch comes to mind.

Master Menos: F for Respects. DMX did all his work while suffering from a drug addiction, and I almost never knew until a point. I hope his next life treats him far better.
