Welcome to the General Fire Emblem Discussion thread! This is mainly for the older games alongside the spinoffs of the franchise, while the newer ones like Fates and Echoes have more emphasis in their own threads. Here, strategies and anything else involving the franchise is fair game!
Moderator's Side Note: Discussions on fan games are perfectly fine, but PLEASE do not link to downloads of said fan games here! No asking for them either!

Character level cap increased from 110 to 130. New weapon skill: Critical Adept – Stun gauge is reduced more easily. New weapon skill: Anti-air Adept – Damage done to enemies knocked into the air increased. New blessings become available at the Temple: Strength Blessing, Magic Blessing, and Skill Blessing. These increase the particular stat of every deployed character. Support Blessing: All characters deployed on a map increase their support level quicker. Swift Blessing: For a period of time after the battle starts, dealt damage is increased. From the settings, players can turn on or off the confirmation sequences before and after making emblems. UI improvements on the map, and the menu used to swap characters in the preparation segment. Other bugs and issues.
After a few weeks that my younger siblings have played Fire Emblem Warriors, some differences to note with Hyrule Warriors, a fellow Nintendo Musou game
-Fire Emblem Warriors added a weapon triangle -stun gauge activates during a weapon triangle advantage or during awakening gauge -ally AI and NPC help contribute to the # of KOs -adding slayers reduce the attack on weapons compared to Hyrule - VS, which are bonus skills effective a certain group, does not lower the weapon's attack -Mastery crest is unlocked when you get a specific scroll in addition to other materials. It's 10,000 KOs. Compared to Hyrule Warriors, you have to do 25,000 KOs with the Master Sword which allows you to do the other Legendary skills which require an additional 25,000 KOs. Legendary Skills on weapons are random in Hyrule Warriors and anyone can have it. Compared to Fire Emblem, not all characters have a personal weapon which is required for a Mastery Crest. -You can cycle through characters but not the green ones during maps. -Fire Emblems Warriors changes character during map deployment which is the map mission screen. Hyrule Warriors has a character select screen. -This game keeps the support system. Not every character has a special A+ support conversation.
Dream: It looks like reported coronavirus cases in Japan have stayed fairly stable since the country's state of emergency was lifted. Unless there's a major spike in cases, don't think we have to worry about production delays for this season.

Dream: Currently on the third and last volume to the True Tenchi Muyo light novels, Washu. Got about 40-50 pages left to read of it before I'd say I'm done.

Taka: Virtual anime conventions - this year has been taking twists and turns. People are making adjustments. I think I spend over 100 dollars every time I go to Anime Expo each year (counting in total of badge cost, food, transportation, and merchandise).

Taka: I'll be saving money. Though, the pandemic has caused a lot of folks to have reduced hours, took time off, or laid off. Most folks' disposable income is a bit tight.

Taka: So Tenchi Geminar has a school full of mostly girls just like Infinite Stratos and many harem shows.
Jul 8, 2020 6:50:40 GMT
Dream: Yeah. After Tenchi Muyo, Masaki Kajishima dabbled into several other harem titles, some of which not being based in the Tenchi timeline, which all have the same resolution of where the male lead "has them all." But they aren't really as popular.

Taka: I need to finish Geminar and GXP. Just cancel FUNimation which leaves me until July 23rd unless there are at least 3 shows that catch my eye from this season.
