The Flag uses the Valknut, a symbol that represents Odin the Allfather, along with the runic alphabet. the white represents the permafrost of the land.
LOCATION AND GEOGRAPHY
Midgard occupies the area of the present day Scandinavian countries, The Realm of Midgard has a combined area of around 3.5 million square kilometres and therefore the geography is extremely varied. The area is so vast that it is situated on five time zones. To the east the region borders Eurasia. To the south Midgard neighbors the Baltic States, Poland, Germany and the Kingdom of Albion while to the North there is the Arctic Ocean.
The climate is often clear and cold, and the temperatures range from -10 to 5C all year round.
Size: 2500 KM2
Religion: Forn Siðr
Main racial Groups: Humans 70% (norn) Dwarfs 30% (mountain dwarf)
This was another country largely unchanged prior to the resurgence of the Supernatural. Magic has taken quite the prominent role in Midgard which is a very isolated nation to begin with despite its size. The seat of power lies at Trelleborg, which is where the High King of Midgard rules from. Midgard is a country that has reverted more than possibly any other country in the world. Some say they abandoned all the modern stuff for a simpler life, but that is just a rumor. All that is known is that Midgard is a very hard place to invade that is also in possession of powerful magic. While some nations may dislike the Supernatural this is a nation that dislikes the modern.
Other important Regions
-Aalborg -Kinsarvik -Jarlshof -Nidaros
Midgard follows the customs of old, where the gods chose the strongest and bravest for leadership.
the social structure is as follows:
High King: Strongest Warrior in Midgard, hero of the people, undefeated in combat.
Jarls: Lower kings that rule over the multiple lands of Midgard, they only answer to the High King and are accomplished warriors on their own right.
Karls: The rest of the humans, most of them are warriors, hunters or scholars.
Dwarfs: The dwarfs dont care about social structure, but they are still highly respected for their metalwork.
The nordic people are tough, hardened by the climate and the field of battle against the ice giants. Therefore it is strenght what people recognize the most.
only the strong survive, both humans and dwarfs cooperate to see this happen.
The nordic people regained their long lost mythical strenght and size with the return of the ancients, most nordics are over 2.5 meters tall with a very muscular build (women too) and also have vast combat experience
While being much shorter than the humans, Dwarfs are also extremely strong. unlike men, dwarfs dont desire power, their lust is always directed towards gold and gemstones, which is why they have no problems living under human regime as long as they get paid. Dwarfs have ancient knowledge on weapon crafting and rune enchanting.
BASIC TIERS AND EQUIPMENT
Everyone is a warrior on midgard from the age of 15 to 90. Norns rely on their combat strenght, durability and prowess to defeat their enemies, but they also use ancient runes in the form of bound circles to boost their power
what's different from these bound circles is that they are powered by the forces of nature, and not by other living beings, which gives them perpetual energy once they have been casted.
HIGH TIERS AND EQUIPMENT
Only the Strongest of warriors earn the title of Huscarl (male) and Valkyrie (female), these warriors are enpowered by the godsend Mímisbrunnr as reward for slaying a hundred frost giants.
The Mímisbrunnr is recognized by the nords as a fountain that grants great magical powers to those who drink from it, this Godsend is located at the capital, next to the throne of the High King.
the Huscarls and Valkyries also don the best of dwarven craftsmanship forged from an ancient alloy called Uru and are easily recognized by the helmets crafted from the antlers of landvættirs, which grant powerful healing and regenerative abilities.

Dream: First anime I will sample among the Funi titles is Chobits. As a heads up, the series on Funi's Youtube channel is missing the two recap episodes the series aired. Not that I'll be missing those however.

Dream: Hmmmm... looks like the version of Vampire Bund I'm seeing on Funi's YouTube channel's an edited version. A couple minutes of episode 2 were clearly removed with Mina in nothing but underwear battling human assassins. Then again, recall there was a good...

Dream: Not sure if I should be donning the nostalgia goggles or not giving a damn. Looks like the original Digimon Adventure series is getting a reboot airing starting in the Spring season.
Jan 21, 2020 3:21:13 GMT
Taka: I'll watch it if there's nothing catching my eye in Spring. winter 2020 was a weak anime season for me.
Jan 22, 2020 18:29:46 GMT
Dream: Wouldn't say it's all bad for me. Have a few titles holding my interest. Just it typically doesn't have as many major titles of note that would hold me over.
