Capital- New Memphis
THE ETERNAL ARISTOCRACY:
Many kings rein on earth, but how many are chosen by the gods? Only Pharaoh Thothmus, his divinity shown in his immortality, also granted to his family! This power not only keeps their bodies eternal but allows them to return the ka (life force) to a body so that they may live again. They are not granted to bring the ba (personality) back in any but chosen priests, but that these preserved bodies live among us again is all we need to know their power is divine and one day we will all walk this earth forever.
The Pharaoh and his family live in New Memphis in the Palace of the Nile, a building more vast and brilliant than any before. All power resides in them under the guidance of the Vizier, as immortal as they.
THE DEACONS OF LIFE:
The priests of Egypt lead us in spirit where the Pharaoh leads us in body. They maintain the temples and tombs. Unlike the old religions, they do not lead the services. They merely maintain the Divine Agents of the gods, those statues that allow the gods themselves to manifest within and speak to our believers. The Abrahamic religions have fallen out of favor. Their gods do not manifest in flesh, and thus their falseness is shown.
THE NOBLE ARTISANS:
Ah, to be free of manual labor! The other countries look upon us with jealousy, for we indeed are. Our citizens have freedom from backbreaking labor, and so our service economy has grown! We keep up the dead's quarters, supply overseas services, and most of all, master architecture. Our countries cities grow fast with glorious buildings and monuments! Other countries crave our architects for their skill!
Oh, praise to our Pharaoh, for his gift to us! The undead legions till the soil, remove waste, do everything that does not require the mind of humanity and is degrading for us to do. The bodies of the dead are tireless, and with our preservation skills they may last years on end. They do not work with skill but they work with all their might. They even defend our borders. While others may have their knights, our endless swarms can overwhelm any foe!
Among them are special varieties made only for warfare, an improvement over the general rabble.
The Bestial- Some zombies are granted greater utility and a resemblance to the gods by means of animal parts grafted to their bodies. This grants them not only natural weaponry but natural instincts beyond the normal scope of the undead. Some have the heads of jackals, working with police as far more effective and savage police hounds. Others sport spines and heads of cheetahs, inescapable on the open desert, always the first line in an assault. More still sport the wings of the mighty roc and take to the sky, none escaping their eyes.
The Amut- Created from the bodies of hippos outfitted with the finest in modern armor, Amut can function as tanks and troop transport. Within their hollowed bodies can hide soldiers, spat out behind enemy lines. Amut are variously armed, although all have their natural tusks extended into even more deadly weapons, capable of sheering through other tanks, at least of the mundane variety.
The Holy- A step below the Pharaoh's family in their power to raise and command the dead, the Holy are a special set of priests made immortal like him. They are not like his family in that they are firmly undead, not everlasting in life. They have a connection to other undead and retain some form of intelligence, but not what they had in their lives. Instead they have alien minds, strange to us. This is what gives them their strength, the ability to command legions on their own. Without them the undead would be a mere horde. I know they are holy, but those glowing eyes and babbling tongues, they disturb me.

Dream: Hmmmm... looks like the version of Vampire Bund I'm seeing on Funi's YouTube channel's an edited version. A couple minutes of episode 2 were clearly removed with Mina in nothing but underwear battling human assassins. Then again, recall there was a good...

Dream: Not sure if I should be donning the nostalgia goggles or not giving a damn. Looks like the original Digimon Adventure series is getting a reboot airing starting in the Spring season.

Taka: I'll watch it if there's nothing catching my eye in Spring. winter 2020 was a weak anime season for me.

Dream: Wouldn't say it's all bad for me. Have a few titles holding my interest. Just it typically doesn't have as many major titles of note that would hold me over.
