Plot: Naruto was a young shinobi with an incorrigible knack for mischief. He achieved his dream to become the greatest ninja in the village and his face sits atop the Hokage monument. But this is not his story... A new generation of ninja are ready to take the stage, led by Naruto's own son, Boruto!
BORUTO - NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS begins streaming Wednesday, April 5 at 2:25pm PST and will be available to members worldwide except Japan, Premium-only in French-speaking territories (*note will not be available in French subtitles).
Watched the first episode. Son is a trouble maker just like his father but for different reasons. Boruto has more self entitlement and blames his dad for not taking care of the family which is opposite of how Naruto grew up without a family

Funny. This has got to be the most popular show airing from 2017 after Attack on Titan. Especially given that this has no manga precursor (that follows the same story at least) You'd think this would be blowing up with activity. I have enjoyed the developments so far which is something coming from a formerly heavy Naruto critic. The complaints I hear is that "nothing is happening". As if anything could easily happen in the current age. Konoha and is a monstrous Super Power like never before in history and that's further reinforced now that all Major Villages are allied which also never happened before. "The alien from space" resource has been exhausted with the Otsutsuki clan already. Any further developments logically need to be local and with the sheer power that is wielded by some individuals, villains need to be cunning to achieve anything now.
Episode reveals Sumire is the culprit, class rep. Hopefully they reveal her motive since we didn't get much hint besides her being there at most incidents and that she wasn't there at the post office with Boruto's group confronting the masked culprit
Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring Manga Gets Animated in Boruto Anime
This year's 32nd issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is revealing on Monday that Masashi Kishimoto's one-volume Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring manga is getting animated in the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime series. The arc will premiere this month. The manga's 15th episode on July 12 will be an epilogue to the "Ghost Incident" arc.
It's weird to see Shidai not be in Boruto's team considering he had a big role at the beginning of the series
He has to form the Ino-Shika-Cho team
Features Denki and Iwabe
While Denki struggle to control his Chakra to walk on walls and Iwabe struggles to study on I guess "electrical wires" the two help each other out and then they had to miss the test to save 3 kids from a fire using their knowledge and skills

A number of folks are fed up with the fact that no important elements have occurred yet excluding the minor bits of Sub plot with the Otsutsuki. I'm still enjoying it because it is giving a bit of characterization before what we can probably except will be years of war. The relationships will mean so much more when crap finally hits the fan. This degree of taking ones time exploring the characters would typically not fly in an anime, but Boruto is merely Naruto part 3. We can expect it to be years long and we will probably not regret it down the line, so relative to its length this is probably not a lot.
Taka: Thanks Master Menos! I'll work on finishing the Winter 2020 guide.

Dream: My second Funi poll is done. Titles I will be watching and reviewing will include Chobits, Samurai Champloo, Spice and Wolf, Gankutsuou, and Dance in the Vampire Bund. Will let folks know which one I start off tomorrow at some point.
Jan 11, 2020 5:39:30 GMT
Dream: First anime I will sample among the Funi titles is Chobits. As a heads up, the series on Funi's Youtube channel is missing the two recap episodes the series aired. Not that I'll be missing those however.

Dream: Wow, never knew Shinbo was Gil, Sousuke, and Domon. More you know.

Dream: Just completed Chobits. Will get a review up for it at some point this afternoon.
Jan 18, 2020 18:37:22 GMT
Dream: Will post a little later what the next voted anime will be that I will watch and review.
Jan 18, 2020 19:48:38 GMT
Dream: Next anime up to cover will be Dance in the Vampire Bund. Suppose a short anime will do for now following Chobits.

Dream: Concluding things at episode 2 with Vampire Bund for the night. Hoping to get back to Basquatch tomorrow, as long as I'm not swamped with anything.

Dream: Geez, it's really quiet. No activity in the forums since I posted my review from yesterday.

Taka: I'll email the receipts. The best anime and manga of 2019 will be extended to Wed. I don't get time off for Mon because of community service. Please vote if you haven't yet. Thank you!

Dream: Hmmmm... looks like the version of Vampire Bund I'm seeing on Funi's YouTube channel's an edited version. A couple minutes of episode 2 were clearly removed with Mina in nothing but underwear battling human assassins. Then again, recall there was a good...

Dream: ...deal of controversy with the series a decade earlier thanks to the seemingly underaged nudity of Mina while in her younger form.

Dream: Not sure if I should be donning the nostalgia goggles or not giving a damn. Looks like the original Digimon Adventure series is getting a reboot airing starting in the Spring season.
Jan 21, 2020 3:21:13 GMT
Taka: I'll watch it if there's nothing catching my eye in Spring. winter 2020 was a weak anime season for me.
Jan 22, 2020 18:29:46 GMT
Dream: Wouldn't say it's all bad for me. Have a few titles holding my interest. Just it typically doesn't have as many major titles of note that would hold me over.

Dream: Done with Vampire Bund. Will be working on a review of it before I hop into the next Funi series. Hoping to get it up either tonight or tomorrow, depending on how lengthy my thoughts get.
